@Pax Domini I agree. What I meant is that too many Christians focus on pumping their minds with doctrine and theology while their hearts are far from God. As Leanord Ravenhill used to say they know of God but don't know Him.
@Pax Domini again I agree with you. I am not disputing the importance of having a right view of God from the mind. I come from fundamental baptist circles where they only focus on intellect and doctrine and it made me weary. So I agree it should be a healthy balance of both. I was admiring Todd's humility because teachers in my circles would never be that willing to admit they need help.
I haven’t seen condemnation just calling out error and a BIG ERROR it was! Todd, in this video does NOT apologize for his remarks or repent. He only tries to clarify. ADB, who hasn’t seen the video nor heard his comments adds damage control by teaching the proper meaning to the text!
I agree with you, in a sense. But Todd White is NOT a member of the congregation. He was PREACHING to the congregation. He needs to know these things BEFORE he preaches on them. He even said in this video that he has a reading comprehension disability. How is his congregation supposed to know when they should give him a chance to respond to complaints or when to take what he said and how he said it, to heart? If no one from the outside of his organization had been scandalized by what he said, the whole congregation would have believed him literally, of those who took it that way. Also, I watched that video and it was clear that he DID mean it the way he now says he did not mean it.
Damage control from a teller of tall tales. Todd been in prison? Todd couldn’t read? Todd was the worst of sinners? Todd never teaches God’s Word. The passion translation? Dr Brown putting words in Todds mouth he does not believe.
Appreciate he accepts to learn Appreciate that Dr. Brown listen to him and try to answer his questions and help him But , but teaching is not for everybody ! We can serve our Lord by doing something else if you do not have the gift of teaching. Lord Jesus Christ bless him Lord Jesus Christ bless the ministry of Dr. Brown Lord Jesus Christ help us all to never shame him. Glory to our beautiful Triune God
Agreed. Todd should teach people what he has learned by doing Street Ministry, but he should avoid exposition of Scripture. He's just not very good at it.
My brother when I heard you speak your message I identify with you , I understand right away what you mean . I think a revelation from God of who He is when we read His word no one can bring that deep revelation of the depth of it , People , every human soul who live in the face of the world today their lives is more vital to God , that's why He died for us all , Our walk with God many and many things our human mind can't understand it , That we don't understand about Him . You set a good example for the body of Christ how to walk in a lowly road , i admire your humility keep up the good work. God blessings and go for it . Good brother Pastor Dr Brown to turn to for his shoulder .
A beautiful conversation. The opposite to backbiting and devouring one another. There is far too much of that in the body of Christ. So much respect for both of these men. What a beautiful example of humility and love.
I actually like Todd White after seeing him on Remnant Radio. His testimony is powerful and according to the Remnant guys they have witnessed actual healings through him. I don't know if I'd ever follow his teachings or anything but I consider him a Christian brother.
"All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned-every one-to his own way; and the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all." ~ Isaiah 53:6 "He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed." ~ 1 Peter 2:24 "God made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God." ~ 2 Corinthians 5:21 AMEN, AMEN, AMEN!! Praise God!!!
Last I checked, wolves are not giving hundreds of dollars to waitresses who are barely making a living and displaying Christ's life to people most people have written off.
@@1207fuego Legalism is also a false Gospel. The Apostles fought against false teaching that tried to get people away from Grace by faith. Any teaching that makes self effort i.e. works as a way to be right with God is false. Hope that helps, sorry it took me so long to respond. I had a block on my phone. God bless
We are more concerned about sin which has been dealt with, washed, forgiven, removed, purged, forgotten, taken away, and judged forever. But we are least worried about self-righteousness which God despises, hates, and rejects. So, we need to seek first His righteousness and everything else will fall in place. We are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus - When we declare thus, God is glad and Jesus Christ is glorified.
Nope. ADB seems to be okay with that! 🤷🏻♂️ Todd was on video saying Copeland prophesied that he would pay off the 11.2 million he owed for his new church building in one year. It’s been well over a year and he still owes 11.2 and has moved out of the building and merged with one of the Hinn’s and Risen Nation Church!
He has decieved 1000's of people with the leg lenghening and gospeless witnessing for years. He would have to repent for this, false teaching and then sit down from ministry unril he is disciped up in the word.
"Hair.......Grow!!!!" Kenneth Copeland. How do you follow that? Did he ever repent for the leg lengthening trick? IMO He's using Dr. Brown to shield himself from scrutiny and to try to gain legitimacy by rubbing elbows with someone who's actually legitimate.
It should be “He made Him to be a sin OFFERING for us.” The OJB translation has it right (and others). The Greek word ‘hamartia’ is also used as ‘sin-offering’ in Romans 8:3 (see NASB) and Hebrews 10:6, and, of course, all throughout the Septuagint.
Todd White. I can't imagine why anyone gives you an audience, much less sits under your teaching. There are so many good teachers out there. The leg lengthening scam is something you need to publicly address. The prosperity gospel association with Kenneth Copeland? When were you last employed? Doing what? Maybe take up tent making.
Todd White teaches that Jesus was not born as God but only as a man. Todd White teaches that Jesus healed others, not because he was God in the flesh, but because he was in right relationship with God. Beware of wolves in sheep's clothing.
amen there s too many videos over this and im thankful for this video I wish brothers would reach out before publicly causing division n jus wanna say love u both blessings
According to Paul's writing in 2Corinthians 5:19-22 “Jesus became sin and did not know sin , so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. “ “ Jesus appealed to God on behalf of Israel and the world?. “ where is Paul's statement on the Tanakh? Why Paul did not quote the Tanakh when he said these verses? Paul's words do not reflect anywhere on the entire chapter of Isaiah 53. How do we know why this is a huge contradiction with Isaiah 53? because Paul contradicted himself when he said that Jesus was murdered not sacrificed. Paul called Jesus “servant of God” , Paul referred to Jesus simply a man . So that means, Jesus was not God but the God of Abraham , Isaac, and Jacob resurrected him. I am just quoting the NT writings. (Acts 3:13,19 ,26 ) Jesus and the God of Abraham were two different identities and entities. ( Acts 5:30 ,31 ) Paul stated that Jews needed to repent in order for their sins to be wiped out and receive redemption ( no need for human blood atonement as it was written in Isaiah 1:11-20 and Ezekiel 18: 18-21 30- 33 ; Matthew 4:17 and Deut ) and change of heart to believe the Gospel of the Kingdom as preached by the Prophets not NT writings , and to keep Torah not just.... believe in a blood sacrifice atonement gospel. That's the contradiction that Christians can not reconcile with the theological doctrines using the NT writings. PAUL HIMSELF STATED THAT HE WORSHIPED THE GOD OF THE FOREFATHERS NOT JESUS. PAUL SAID THAT HE ONLY BELIEVE ACCORDING TO TORAH AND THE TANAKH. NOTHING ELSE. THAT MEANS HE OBSERVED TORAH (LAW OF MOSES) AND THE TANAKH. PAUL WAS CHARGED OF NOT OBSERVING THE LAW OF MOSES BUT ON HIS DEFENSE HE CONFIRMED THAT HE PREACHED ACCORDING TO THE LAW OF MOSES AND THE PROPHETS. (Acts 24:14,16) Another important matter, there is no where in the NT writings that Jesus said “ia m turning myself in for the sake of Israel or the world ” because I came or I am an atonement for Israel or the world. Did he? That will be a huge contradiction from his words. On the other hand, Jesus never preached “human blood atonement gospel OR “ that he was the human blood sacrifice in order to get the forgiveness of sins through him. His preaching subject was repentance and the kingdom of God, and keeping the commandments of God. He actually preached repentance and to keep the Torah in order to get eternal life as required to enter the kingdom of God. That's a huge contradiction If someone will use a the “human blood atonement gospel”. Case in Point: If salvation was so important through the blood of Jesus or human blood atonement and nothing else matter but just to believe it only. Why didn't Jesus preach it in his entire ministry???? Instead , Jesus' main preaching subject was repentance from the heart and believe in the Gospel of the kingdom and keeping Torah as recorded in the Tanakah as mentioned in Mark 1:15, Luke 4:43, Luke 24:44,45 ; Matthew 19: 16-21 ; Acts 3:13,19 ,26 ; Acts 5:30 ,31 32 That would be a huge contradiction to the text and to the christian theology. The bottom line is if you are Messianic Jew or christian, according to your own NT book, you must repent in order for your sins and iniquities to be forgiven and a new change of heart to return to God and to believe in the right Gospel of the Prophets and to Keep the Torah as your lifestyle which will honor Hashem. True Repentance means not turning back to sin otherwise you are still a sinner in your heart before the Almighty God. But Christians says if you repent but you still can continue to be a sinner if you only believe in the blood of Jesus. Jesus never preached that in his ministry. The act of repentance or turning back to God and stop sinning will be considered an act of “righteousness” before God, if we will obey his words written in the Tanakh. That means, we must honor the words of the Tanakh to be considered righteousness just like how Abraham did it. If God says if you repent and your sins are wiped out. You better believe it. Otherwise you are believing doctrines of men. Acts 8:22, ; Acts 17:30 ; Acts 26:20 ; In Revelation 3:10 Jesus said we must remain obedient to God's commandments by endurance. Otherwise you will be rejected. Even if you believe in Jesus' blood in your heart, will not save you if you don't obey Torah and Tanakh. Revelation 12:17 Read Ecclessiastes 12: 12-14 is the bottom line of the bottom line.
It’s really frustrating and confusing that such a promoted voice like Tod white is constantly having to be corrected about his heretical statements and theology that he teaches. Sure it’s great that he seems to be searching for truth and wanting to understand it, but come on, this guy has a large following and is still having to be fed milk, still struggling with the basics, how’s this even healthy or good for the body, Tod needs to step away and get schooled in the basics and have faith in God to see what He has in perfect plan for a born again solid Tod.
You don't even have a clue where you're talking about you just jump on Bull with everybody else bashing Todd wife Todd White is a man of God sold out a man of no compromise no he's not perfect but none of us are but I've been listening to this man for years and years and I am full of the Holy Spirit and I'm telling you right now talk why it's not a heretic he's not a false prophet he is a man that is in love with Jesus! I'm not trying to be mean or rude but you can't just jump on board with the heretic Hunters just because you don't agree with something somebody says or take something out of context.
I appreciated this video a lot. Grateful there is a humility to listen when needed and to bring forth clarity. I hope this practice extends even to those who bring frequently bear false witness. We need each other and there seems to be a pathway forward if we will get the beams out of our eyes and humble ourselves, there could be a real move of God like we have never seen before.
The gift we are given is truly, truly amazing. But there are those who won't, nor will ever, believe. At least not until they come face-to-face with Him, yet it is too late. And there are those that profess their belief, but their hearts have not changed. Everyone that comes to Jesus will do so in their own time and place, because their hearts need to be touched in a way that brings transformation. I don't believe anyone can be lead to Jesus. We can only plant the seed. That seed must grow within until we seek Him out ourselves, when it is our heart, will, and desire to know Him.
I did watch the video in question, and I do admit that at the time it was disturbing to me to see how you emphasized every sin that supposedly Jesus 'Became '. However, I do appreciate you clarifying the error you presented to the body of Christ regarding how what you meant was that Jesus 'Bore' our sins which is a huge difference. I want to thank you for your services and for allowing the Love of Jesus to flow through you touching many lives. God bless you.
He can't, and he shouldn't! Todd is a clear heretic who endorses other clear heretics. He needs prayer that he wouldn't deceive others and that he would come to the truth of God's word.
we must decrease as he increases within us as Christ said to the woman being stoned by others Christ simply said HE WHO IS WITHOUT SIN CAST THE FIRST STONE as Christ wrote in in dirt he looked up & only seen her standing Christ said to her GO AND SIN NO MORE.... living out our life and sin no more once you have with a humbled heart
I really enjoy Todd’s evangelism videos. He has such a passion to share the gospel and I think it’s a pity he gets harsh criticism for occasional theological mistakes. That doesn’t mean he’s a false teacher. We’re all learning and good to see he is looking to Dr Brown for guidance in these matters! However, I wouldn’t look to Todd as a teacher, his gifting is much more in evangelism.
@@MichaelCTruth My guess is that you’re just saying that because you believe more in Calvinism and influential people, who may in fact be false teachers than the testimony of scripture
@@stuarthys9879 I think one reason to say that he is a false teacher is that he claims that it is always God's will to heal, despite the Bible saying to the contrary.
@@martinobrien4164 The bible does not say that it isn’t God’s will to always heal. Jesus is the full and final revelation of God and He never refused to heal.
Todd it’s amazing but when I heard your preaching on this I knew where you were going with that. I understood it. I know it was the Holy Spirit. I saw how other began talking about what you said in a negative way. I’m happy to cleared the view for many. God Bless ❤️✝️🙏
Cleared nothing for me. Jesus became a child pornographer? An adulterer? A human trafficer? Unbelieveable. Horrific things to say. NOT what Paul was saying at all. No wonder he's gotten massive blowback.
Thank you both. This is so helpful. I only watched because someone I know was concerned about the situation so this is a good thing to be able to find so easily. I don't like to go to just any source of information. I appreciate both of you and your ministries. 🙏🏼
Acknowledging your guilt doesn't mean you are CONDEMNED. I am so guilty of what I did but because I am forgiven, I am not condemned. Being uncondemned doesn't mean I am not guilty!!! t't
Yes, that is exactly what bothers me too in this whole conversation. The price has been payed and I'm forgiven, that doesn't mean I'm no longer quilty! It really bothers me that Dr. Michael Brown didn't adress this.
@@saskiae200 we are guilty but pardoned. Because of Jesus' finished work we who have repented and accepted Yeshu'a as Savior are saved from God's wrath which we deserve but Saints are still guilty of their crime, it just isn't held against them. I thank God with all of my heart that I have been forgiven. Forgiveness is you are guilty but I will not treat you as a criminal. We are guilty but thank God for forgiveness...God bless
Justin Peters just had an axe to grind and is in great error - I am not saying I follow Todd White really - But, I gotta say, I believe Todds message was pretty clear. I think Todds message is pretty much right on that point, according to the Word of God. It's sad that Todd has to go through great lengths to explain this - but, you know what - may it ring loudly. Todd had said effectually, "It was on Him" [not *in* Him] (Speaking of on the Body of Jesus).
Thanks for NOT reading the Passion version which is not a translation... it's seriously suspect. Todd please think about that more before using it further.
I love Todd White, and I do wish some of his internet critics would listen to him with a more open heart, rather than a judgemental "looking for a broken sentence to condemn with", in the words of George Whitefield. Yes, he can sometimes express things clumsily, like all of us, but I respect him as a true brother with a tremendous passion for God. I think Todd needed to clarify things more in that sermon. I really appreciate Michael Brown, and his input into Todd's life: he couldn't have a better mentor there.
All have fallen short of the glory of God all of us can be deceived does that mean even false teachers can't repent and humble themselves this way only God knows his hearts true motives leave it with him a house divided against itself can't stand God bless
Faith is trusting in God especially in bad situations. Heavenly Father thank you for encouraging me and giving me strength. Thank you for sending strangers to help me through my hard situation. Even as I continue to struggle to provide for my two autistic children I always remember to keep faith in God, since losing my job for declining the vaccine. Things have been very hard. I declined because I have pre existing health condition Lupus and heart disease. I was denied my medical/religious exemption by Forsyth Hospital. My husband passed away three years ago, so I’m all alone. No family nor friends. Every month I don’t know how we are going to make it. Every month is a struggle. But every month God provides. Thank you father for that. I’m so embarrassed of my situation. I’m so tired of struggling every month and being put down over my circumstances NO MATTER WHAT I have Faith that God will provide! He is faithful. He knows my heart! He will save me and my children from poverty. IN JESUS name. Please pray for me and my boys.
I think this is a good example of why we need people like Dr. Brown to not write people off who others think are a little out there. Dr. Brown has obviously showed enough kindness to Todd that Todd now respects his opinion. Knowing that he's looking to someone like Dr. Brown for guidance is great to see, and much better than him just getting the boot from the Christian community.
It’s just a shame Dr Bown is clueless to what video Todd is talking about. He admittedly hasn’t seen or heard what he said. What he said was disgusting and heretical. No Todd, Jesus is not there looking at the porn with a person! 🤦🏻♂️ ADB is doing the teaching on the scripture accurately, but Todd is using this for damage control. Notice there is no apology, remorse or repentance!
@@robertherrera1234 I just watched the video, and to be fair, he didn’t say “Jesus was looking at porn with you!”. Is it possible that being rightly off put by what he said you exaggerated a bit?
Totally agree Colin. I am so pleased that Todd is linking in with Dr Brown. The internet has helped to create an atmosphere of slander, and it is really easy to write people off hastily, rather than listening to what they have to say, and correcting in a constructive way. George Whitefield said in one of his sermons that he didn't know if people were "looking for a broken sentence to condemn with", and that spirit has become really rife.
I saw the video. He clearly said that on the cross Jesus became every sin he mentioned. This is damage control. What Todd said was heretical. Go and listen. Todd is backpedaling.
And what is wrong about backpedaling when you realize that you are wrong about something or misspoke about something? What is repentance? is it not backpedaling?
I saw it too! It’s was disgusting and heretical! No he did not become a pedophile like he said! I don’t hear repentance just an attempt at correction. Here is Dr. Brown trying to comment on something he admittedly didn’t hear or see and trying to change the context of what Todd actually said!
Hold up, Jesus had to be separated from God to become the sin, I don’t believe it is heretical to say that he literally suffered in hell in our place for that short time that God turned away from him.
God is omnipresent, so nothing is "separated" literally from him. We mean separated from his goodness or a positive relation into a negative relation. You are spot on that Jesus suffered exactly what we would have suffered in hell, and it was a 1 to 1 correspondence maintaining God's justice.
When you said He became Child Pornography, you seemed to be saying that He became The ACT!!! He didn't sin but again you seem to be saying He became The Act?
Such a great topic to be dealt with, as many Reformed theologians are quick to affirm that Jesus became a sinner, the greatest of all. This cannot be any further from the truth. For instance Reformer Martin Luther said,
"If you deny that He is a condemned sinner, you are forced to deny that Christ died. It is not less preposterous to say, the Son of God died, than to say, the Son of God was a sinner.” “But if it is not absurd to confess and believe that Christ was crucified between thieves, then it is not absurd to say as well that He was a curse, and of all sinners, the greatest.” “Our most merciful Father…sent His only Son into the world, and laid upon Him all the sins of all men, saying, Be Thou Peter that denier; Paul that persecutor, blasphemer and cruel oppressor; David that adulterer; that sinner which did eat the apple in Paradise; that thief which hanged upon the cross; and briefly be Thou the person which hath committed the sins of all men; see therefore that Thou pay and satisfy for them.” In other words, according to Martin Luther, Jesus became an adulterer, a blasphemer, a thief, and on and on, while hanging on the cross, and so He became all those sinners that He died for. Calvinist R.C. Sproul said, "The Incarnate Christ who enjoyed intimate personal fellowship with the Father, such as no man had ever enjoyed, was suddenly and completely cut off. Once the sin of man was imputed to Him, He became the virtual incarnation of evil. The load He carried was repugnant to the Father. God is too holy to even look at iniquity. God the Father turned His back upon the Son, cursing Him to the pit of hell while on the cross. Here was the Son’s ‘descent into hell.’ Here the fury of God raged against Him. His scream was the scream of the damned. For us.” The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:21 that He who knew no sin became [a] sin [offering] for us. It does not say that He who knew no sin became sinful or a sinner, for then He wouldn’t have been qualified to make an atonement. God bless.
This is true Christianity in action not theses self righteous judges who think they are called to blast everyone they disagree with and yet never speak to the person they are blasting! Thank you Dr Brown!
In both 2Cor 5:21 and Rom 8:3 Paul uses a noun "sin" in an idiomatic sense. Its a Hebrew idiom. Christ was not "to be sin." He was made to be the sin offering! Critical distinction. Same thing in Rom 8:3. It should be translated "for our sin offering. Some versions make a note at the bottom of the page as in the ESV. And the NASB puts "as a sin offering" in italics. If Christ was made to be sin He would have been corrupted, and not be the unblemished lamb slain for the foundation of the world. What Christ took on from us was our punishment! That punishment was exacted in His flesh. "By His strips we are healed."
At first when I heard him say all that in the original video, I hoped that he was misinterpreting scripture or just not conveying it in the right way. Because the way it was said can be interpreted as blasphemy & a fundamental change to Christianity. So I hope all those who’ve seen the original video, also watch this video for clarity.
There was absolutely no reason for Justin Peter's to trash Todd White like he did. Instead he should have reached out to Todd like Dr. Brown did. Unfortunately the way Todd presented the message needed to be rephrased. Todd used the wrong words. My understanding is Jesus did not sin but he felt what it was like for a person to commit adultery, to be in addiction, etc, but he did not commit a sin, he just felt what that sin felt like.
Wow Dr. brown, this is a brave video you did and shared. People aren’t going to agree with you making it, but I was able to learn some things from it so thanks for making it and following your own convictions, including on TH-cam.
@Genesis 12:3 = Matthew 25:31-46 Abraham's Descendants Brethren of Jesus goats sheep Matthew 6:20,21. (20. But lay up for yourselves treasures in Heaven....(21. For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. God bless you on your journey!!!
Epitomizes the ugliness of sin. I think that would address Dan Mohler's position that The Cross doesn't expose our sin but manifests our value/worth...God bless
The theological logical sense is this: you can't die if you have not sinned. How is Christ to defeat death without having to face it? He took our sin, to die for us and to conquer the grave! Interesting enough, since it was our sin that caused the death of Jesus, death can't hold us because death already lost. This is why we need Jesus.
Glad to see this attempt, but I didn’t hear Todd or Dr. Brown say Todd should not have said what he said, that it was not correct. Instead they said people heard it wrong. He may have said it in ignorance but he should still make clear WHAT he said was not correct but was intended to convey a strong message with extreme wording. I didn’t hear a confession of error.
Todd I totally got what you said don't worry. People are going to twist things into meaning something and they can't read between the lines with the point you're trying to make, and the Bible clearly says that He became sin. So I don't think it's a stretch at all to say then he became specific sins. You're just saying exactly what the Bible says. There's nothing heretical about that. It's biblical. We love you.
Great to hear I'm sure Todd is a great guy, who seems very sincere and teachable. I did have some concerns, when he started saying God told me this or something like that. When you hold views or opinions that have this as their basis, I think there is always a bit of danger. You can't argue with God. At times, It's a real problem in Pentecostal circles. Sometimes we can get it wrong. The bible needs to be the basis of our beliefs.
Doesn't the core principle of only doing what you see the Father doing, or saying what he is saying, indicate the NEED to hear Father personally, through any of the multitude of ways He talks to us, and the scripture being clear base to judge what we heard. The Jews only knew the scripture but never heard God or revognized the Messiah, we must not be the same. My sheep will know my voice,
@CBSR please search it on TH-cam. I can't link it here. It's absolutely fake.. he's a charlatan. to fake heal and run with that deception is tragic. his theology is extremely questionable. he endorses kenneth Copeland. the troubling facts regarding him are numerous.
Just listen to Todd for a few minutes and it’s obvious he loves Jesus and was only trying to open people’s eyes to the truth of the gospel through presenting it creatively. Did he take it too far? Sounds like it. But we need to remember that every pastor makes mistakes. We need to give people chances like this to explain what they meant.
Todd, you ARE guilty. I am guilty, too. We all have sinned. The issue is - how pays the price for that sin to make it right? We cannot possibly pay restitution to GOD. We are guilty, we are not innocent. But we don't have to pay the spiritual price for the ways we have offended God by violating His commands. This misunderstanding of words is what causes Todd trouble - he uses terms like "guilt" incorrectly. Jesus' actions didn't take away our guilt. We cannot erase what we did in our past. He paid the price for us, thus reconciling us to God. Guilt isn't taken away. Justice demands payment. We are guilty, and Jesus paid the price for our guilt. I hope Todd understands this difference. I don't think he appreciates how his words "invite" people to call him a false prophet. I think his heart is in the right place., and I think he conceptually understands that he is still guilty. He just doesn't reflect it properly in his words. And words matter, so not being able to articulate truth becomes a problem on many levels.
I like the way you conveyed that. That’s what comes off the top of my head too. Yes I AM guilty but the penalty by grace gets paid and the atonement cleanses.
Sorry what you say in my understanding of scripture is not true. So with respect, your words also matter..We cannot remain both guilty and innocent. Guilt is absolutely taken away, just as our sin is removed as far as the east of west...BECAUSE it was placed on him who knew no sin. Were we all originally guilty and in no way able to save ourselves? Absolutely. Are we completely set free and made blameless in the sight of God because of Jesus? YES!! this is in part what it means that 'His Blood speaks a better word' Maybe take a moment to listen to the video?
I know everyone is talking about Todd and what he did not do but I love the fact that this is and example for me to a portion of correcting his wording and giving him a better understanding of the scripture. I love that dr. Brown worked with him and talked with him and did this not just saying he was wrong and holding him accountable for what he says but also showing him what it actually means and how to explain it. I just want to say tho that Todd did say that’s the best that I can explain it . … I think that shows me that’s why a lot of people get trained correctly and go to seminary so they can avoid these kinds of things. it’s not taking the spirit of God out of it if you go to school or just tell you how to correctly do it. But I really really am encouraged by this video shows how to correct in love. Thank you for this !
I'd like to insert this. Jesus was both god, and man. It was important that God took on the physical man, in which was the spirit of God. From Leviticus, when the priests layed their hands upon the sin offering, the sins of the person was transferred to the offering. When they slapped Jesus, yelling blasphemy, they laid the sin of mankind upon Jesus. Thinking we could be God was the sin of man. The fruits of sin are all the sinful acts we do. Jesus, when slapped, became the sin of the world, and was immediately separated from God, now just mere man, who did what no other man could ever do.. went to the cross and suffered ashedidin total obedience tothewill of the father, not asgod, but as man, the second Adam. But without the spirit of God powering him, he endured to the end. This is what made it so astounding. He endured as in our sinful nature, and still obeued to the end, and becauseherid, now wewhocometohim, can walk from death, which we are in sin, to the newnessoflife that is eternal. From eternal death to eternal life. What a trade off that was for us, andforthat, I will praise his name forevermore.
Why does it take Dr Brown to clarify what Todd clearly said & meant? I think Todd said what he meant & meant what he said which was not right but now he has another to speak for him because his gone too far into error. He feels like his born again again? What gospel DOES this man Todd actually believe or teach who knows??.
I stopped following Todd White after seeing a video done by Mike Winger going over Todd's videos claiming that God used Him to grow people's legs that He claimed in the video one leg was shorter then the other & God did supernatural Miracles. Mike Winger showed the videos frame by frame showed how Todd was re Positioning thr leg to make it look longer or shorter. ( note* I have nothing against Brother Todd and I beleive in God's power to heal but after these videos I was shocked and saddened) Watching Him in this video He appears to be true to what he believes about Christ. Could it be in the healing video he got overly excited believing something happand when it actually did not?
I was in Israel witb Dr. Brown in 1988 and have been listening to Todd since around 2010. Both have been such a blessing. Todd is under attack because of his stand for Jesus - not surprised
No he is a false teacher. How to you reconcile the leg lenthening deception he does, the crossless, void of talking about sin while witnessing and his teaching of the prosperity gospel?
I do think that the cross, ultimately, shows us both the love of God and the severity of sin, all at once... these are just my thoughts on the Atonement, coming from an ancient Orthodox perspective: not denying the "punishment" aspect of the Cross (in context) ... but seeing the Satisfaction of Justice as being, primarily, the redemptive work of the Son in reordering, re-righting and recreating all things in Himself (and manifesting his holiness and reality in Christ), rather than the Father venting/pouring wrath upon the Son. "For it please the Lord to bruise him" "And He hath laid upon Him, the iniquity of us all" "For the joy before him, he endured the cross, scorning its shame" Is God punishing God on the cross? Well, No. God is triune and does all things in a triadic way... "that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself" (2 Cor 5)... He (the Son) "offered Himself through the eternal Spirit unblemished to God (the Father) (Heb 9) Is God punishing a human person on the cross? Well, No, we are not (or shouldn't be) 'Nestorian'. Christ (the God-man) had a human nature, thus was a real man, but not a human 'person' (Hypostasis). The sole 'subject' in Messiah, was that of God the Word. God cannot become sin (literally) because sin, for one, is an abstraction; it is a privation of the good; a negation of the good. Sin is things that people think, say or do (you cannot become other people's thoughts, words and deeds) and that break God's holy Law (God is love), and that are not in harmony with His Reality (I am the Way the Truth and the Life) - Righteousness denotes: His harmony, balance, reality, order. Plus God cannot 'literally' become sin because "God is light in whom there is no darkness at all" (1 John)... that would be blasphemy. "God made Him who knew no sin, to be sin for us, that in Him we might be the righteousness of God" ??? Or is God - as man, 'figuratively' becoming sin (2 Cor 5), (a "sin offering") (Rom 8) and entering into the place of condemnation, separation, shame and punishment, as He Who, according to His divinity, cannot die, "tastes death" (Heb 2), "to destroy the devil and free those who all their lives were held in bondage to their fear of death'.... in order to clear every obstacle and defeat every enemy and do what only God as man can do, i.e, reconcile us with Himself in order that - in Him - the Ark of Salvation - we may escape the very real Wrath that is to come on the day of judgement? Yes indeed! He drank the cup of suffering because He took on our ancient wound of mortality; and because we suffer; He suffered as He wept for Lazarus; and because the wages of sin is death, He experienced God forsakeness and entered into death as the Victor! We must remember that all the animal sacrifices were themselves figurative and iconographic - a constant reminder and sign to the Old covenant people - pointing to the costliness of Sin, and the loss of innocence, and that love is sacrificial, and that God is the giver of life: the life that is "in the blood"... and to their fulfillment in the future! They were mainly meals to be eaten as well, after being offered to God; but when Christ the Lamb comes, (Who's life, death, burial and resurrection we now eat and drink of - Who gave his divine life for the temporal corrupted life of His lost creatures) - His death is also highly 'iconographic', but also affects a real 'ontological' change in the Universe, and He actually reconciles us to Himself by becoming one of us and uniting universal Human Nature with His own. In the same way that our temporary punishment in Eden was the separation of our soul and body, so Christ's human soul and body were also separated when He died, but all in constant Union with the Person of the Logos... and so "the punishment that bought us peace was upon Him", for he entered into death in order to destroy it. He planned / predetermined to let the demonic and humanity do their worst to Him in order to rid the enemy of any rights (via His unjust death), for he (the devil) had no power, no hold on Him), and that sin "might become utterly sinful" (Rom 6), and that our "flesh" might be cut off as He was in His Body on the tree "outside the city". Humble God "Because He humbled Himself - even to the death of the cross" Amazing Love! There is one 'Person' in our Lord Jesus Christ, and that is the Person the Eternal Son and Word of God Who 'took on' our humanity: God assuming a very real human body and soul in order to identify with us, out of love (Rom 5/John 3), and pity (Psalm 103), "and He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied". He, as the great High Priest "made intercession for the transgressors" 'as if' He was a transgressor.... Who "was in every way like us, yet without sin".... and in order to show/manifest righteousness (Rom 3), and provide the a Way for us to be in His 'rightness'. He fulfilled the Law, disarmed the enemy, raised our humanity up within Himself, that we - by grace - through faith - might partake of the Divine Nature (according to grace not essence). He Who is Life, defeated death by His Death. He defeated all darkness by His Lght. He reversed all unrighteousness by His Righteousness! The God Man chose the death of the cross... The God Man chose the worst of deaths in order to express the lengths and depths of His love and mercy: "But God demonstrates His love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us"... a Pagan execution method, with the cooperation of the Jews, in an occupied country that would involve Him stretching out His arms as He "draws all people" to Himself. The God-man layed down His own life... The God Man took it up again! Oh Glory Hallelujah !!!
Todd, I happened to see what you said in a video that another pastor had made to critique you. However, at the time I wasn’t offended by what you had said at all. I understood the way you meant it, I thought it was an original way to explain the Gospel, and I thought that the critic pastor was splitting hairs and engaging in unwarranted friendly fire. BTW I’m not even one of your fans. More pastor should preach the Gospel without watering it down.
I wouldnt say he "symbolically" (as in, not really) became a curse or sin.. I like that Mr. Brown used the word "mystically", that is better. But I still think it means He literally became sin (because it SAYS so. He can still be guilt-free: he never sinned himself, yet CHOSE to take our place out of LOVE). I argue this also because Christ LITERALLY bore the wrath of God, not "symbolically" (btw his physical death was not special--many people were crucified--the intense thing was that all of God's wrath was poured out on him, literally, not symbolically, because he WAS MADE TO BE SIN, and this IN OUR STEAD. It would make no sense for God to pour out his wrath on holiness (!). Indeed, a complete switch was made on the cross: you in all your sinfulness and darkness died, rising to new life in God and for God, by the power of the Holy Spirit (->repent, have faith in Christ, get baptised, receive Holy Spirit) May we be blessed by him today and forever and receive meekly with thanksgiving the free gift of eternal, abundant life, amen.
Glad to see Todd being humble and asking for help that is awesome. God wants our hearts not our heads. ❤🔥
@Pax Domini amen brother you too 🙌
I wish more Christians would give people a chance to explain rather than condemn, it would bring unity that we need. This was great :)
Yeah, a lot of calvanists need to do this and not just call them outb
Oh he’s explained… he’s still a heretic.
Appreciate he accepts to learn
Appreciate that Dr. Brown listen to him and try to answer his questions and help him
But , but teaching is not for everybody !
We can serve our Lord by doing something else if you do not have the gift of teaching.
Lord Jesus Christ bless him
Lord Jesus Christ bless the ministry of Dr. Brown
Lord Jesus Christ help us all to never shame him. Glory to our beautiful Triune God
Agreed. Todd should teach people what he has learned by doing Street Ministry, but he should avoid exposition of Scripture. He's just not very good at it.
My brother when I heard you speak your message I identify with you , I understand right away what you mean . I think a revelation from God of who He is when we read His word no one can bring that deep revelation of the depth of it , People , every human soul who live in the face of the world today their lives is more vital to God , that's why He died
for us all , Our walk with God many and many things our human mind can't understand it , That we don't understand about Him .
Dr brown you would make a great mentor to Todd. He has the heart you can keep his theology in check. Gbu
I actually like Todd White after seeing him on Remnant Radio. His testimony is powerful and according to the Remnant guys they have witnessed actual healings through him. I don't know if I'd ever follow his teachings or anything but I consider him a Christian brother.
"All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned-every one-to his own way; and the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all." ~ Isaiah 53:6
"He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed." ~ 1 Peter 2:24
"God made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God." ~ 2 Corinthians 5:21

@@1207fuego Legalism is also a false Gospel. The Apostles fought against false teaching that tried to get people away from Grace by faith.
Wow,great way to lay that out!Thank you!👊😎

Does he ask about the leg lengthening and the ties to Copeland?
Just curious before I watch.
I don’t know yet, I haven’t watched it either.
You don’t believe the Lord can lengthen someone’s leg? Christians don’t use guilt by association so try again.
@@nickonoma It's a parlor trick. Get real,
Glad to see him humble..I do hope todd stops seeing kenneth copeland as his spiritual father
Todd has always been humble, gentle. loving and teachable. So am glad you're having an opportunity to see that.
Yeah, that's the part I have a really hard time with as well.
Amen, brother Hal.
Yes the sacrificial Lamb
Todd White. I can't imagine why anyone gives you an audience, much less sits under your teaching. There are so many good teachers out there. The leg lengthening scam is something you need to publicly address. The prosperity gospel association with Kenneth Copeland? When were you last employed? Doing what? Maybe take up tent making.
Dr Michael Brown has been in ministry most of his life, are you telling him to go get a job also?
Thank you for creating this video. I was hoping that the clips I had seen were taken out of context, and it is good to see you guys speak the truth.
Todd White teaches that Jesus was not born as God but only as a man. Todd White teaches that Jesus healed others, not because he was God in the flesh, but because he was in right relationship with God.
Beware of wolves in sheep's clothing.
Evidence?
amen there s too many videos over this and im thankful for this video I wish brothers would reach out before publicly causing division n jus wanna say love u both blessings
Imputed righteousness. Its a beautiful thing.
AMEN. Thank you so much for coming out and explaining yourself Todd. Condemnation is something I struggle and have struggled with for so long
According to Paul's writing in 2Corinthians 5:19-22 “Jesus became sin and did not know sin , so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. “ “ Jesus appealed to God on behalf of Israel and the world?. “
where is Paul's statement on the Tanakh?
(Acts 24:14,16)
Another important matter, there is no where in the NT writings that Jesus said “ia m turning myself in for the sake of Israel or the world ” because I came or I am an atonement for Israel or the world.
King James is the only version we should use
For there is No condemnation for those in Christ Jesus 🙌🙌🙌
"GUILTY OF MYSTICISM." Repent & follow Jesus' doctrine. It's paramount & it matters in our walk with HIM.
Man mad respect to y’all
I did watch the video in question, and I do admit that at the time it was disturbing to me to see how you emphasized every sin that supposedly Jesus 'Became '. However, I do appreciate you clarifying the error you presented to the body of Christ regarding how what you meant was that Jesus 'Bore' our sins which is a huge difference. I want to thank you for your services and for allowing the Love of Jesus to flow through you touching many lives. God bless you.
If Todd can’t articulate basic Christian doctrine, he shouldn’t be teaching.
Amen!

Jesus did not become sin. He took sin upon Him. He became the sin bearer.
2 Corinthians 5:21 (NASB20) He made Him who knew no sin to be sin in our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

It's sad that Todd has to go through great lengths to explain this - but, you know what - may it ring loudly.
Todd had said effectually, "It was on Him" [not *in* Him] (Speaking of on the Body of Jesus).

Dr Brown, please consider more carefully who you give a platform to
Hold up, Jesus had to be separated from God to become the sin, I don’t believe it is heretical to say that he literally suffered in hell in our place for that short time that God turned away from him.
God is omnipresent, so nothing is "separated" literally from him. We mean separated from his goodness or a positive relation into a negative relation.
You are spot on that Jesus suffered exactly what we would have suffered in hell, and it was a 1 to 1 correspondence maintaining God's justice.
Sin is condemned in the flesh of Jesus Christ's body and it was nailed to His cross. This is why we must crucify our flesh and walk in the Spirit.
When you said He became Child Pornography, you seemed to be saying that He became The ACT!!! He didn't sin but again you seem to be saying He became The Act?
And dr brown hasn’t seen the video but is commenting! 🤦🏻♂️

It is not less preposterous to say, the Son of God died, than to say, the Son of God was a sinner.”
“But if it is not absurd to confess and believe that Christ was crucified between thieves, then it is not absurd to say as well that He was a curse, and of all sinners, the greatest.”
“Our most merciful Father…sent His only Son into the world, and laid upon Him all the sins of all men, saying, Be Thou Peter that denier; Paul that persecutor, blasphemer and cruel oppressor; David that adulterer; that sinner which did eat the apple in Paradise; that thief which hanged upon the cross; and briefly be Thou the person which hath committed the sins of all men; see therefore that Thou pay and satisfy for them.”
In other words, according to Martin Luther, Jesus became an adulterer, a blasphemer, a thief, and on and on, while hanging on the cross, and so He became all those sinners that He died for.
For us.”
The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:21 that He who knew no sin became [a] sin [offering] for us. It does not say that He who knew no sin became sinful or a sinner, for then He wouldn’t have been qualified to make an atonement.
God bless.

Doctrine matters Todd White!
I love Doc Brown but, after listening to Todd White for 20 minutes, I feel the need to go outside, get some fresh air and stretch....... my legs.
It's a Beautiful Beautiful And Amazing
This is true Christianity in action not theses self righteous judges who think they are called to blast everyone they disagree with and yet never speak to the person they are blasting! Thank you Dr Brown!
Really love this brotherhood conversation between these brothers. May God Almighty keep blessing them
In both 2Cor 5:21 and Rom 8:3 Paul uses a noun "sin" in an idiomatic sense.
Damage control. Unqualified.
Not gonna lie, something about this guy, i cant put my finger on it....

Epitomizes the ugliness of sin. I think that would address Dan Mohler's position that The Cross doesn't expose our sin but manifests our value/worth...God bless
Great reconciliation of Theology on both sides. God bless both men. May He be with them alwYs.
Not convinced of Todd White's damage control speech. He believes what Copeland believes.
Todd White. Love you brother
18:40 That's profound to think about.
My sheep will know my voice,
@@erichoceans well by using the scriptures to judge what God has told Todd would mean that Todd has very rarely heard from God.
Hes a liar. Watch his leg lengthening trick.

How do you know it’s a trick?
This man is a false teacher
So did Dr Brown even listen to Tods video/sermon ?
This was so well said
Sorry what you say in my understanding of scripture is not true.
@@Stilgar74 Language use it seems
lol Y'all are guilty. I'm acquitted,.
“I think I just got born again, again.” That’s how I felt hearing your words Dr. Brown.
You guys might wanna see idol killer's response to this.
Beautiful. Great to hear again how Jesus bore our sins and freed us from condemnation!!! It makes you want to jump up and down and praise the Lord!!!
Yes He who knew no sin , became sin . Thank for ever and ever Jesus .
I didn’t know Todd was a Teen Challenge guy. So am i
Why does it take Dr Brown to clarify what Todd clearly said & meant? I think Todd said what he meant & meant what he said which was not right but now he has another to speak for him because his gone too far into error. He feels like his born again again? What gospel DOES this man Todd actually believe or teach who knows??.
This is so good
Michael Brown should be everyone's GO TO, EXCEPT POSSIBLY James White...lol
I stopped following Todd White after seeing a video done by Mike Winger going over Todd's videos claiming that God used Him to grow people's legs that He claimed in the video one leg was shorter then the other & God did supernatural Miracles. Mike Winger showed the videos frame by frame showed how Todd was re Positioning thr leg to make it look longer or shorter. ( note* I have nothing against Brother Todd and I beleive in God's power to heal but after these videos I was shocked and saddened)
Watching Him in this video He appears to be true to what he believes about Christ. Could it be in the healing video he got overly excited believing something happand when it actually did not?
I don't believe we are ever worthy. Worthiness seems to be related to reward. We can go before The Throne due to GRACE!!!
I was in Israel witb Dr. Brown in 1988 and have been listening to Todd since around 2010. Both have been such a blessing. Todd is under attack because of his stand for Jesus - not surprised
Todd is under scrutiny because of his stance ON Jesus - surprised?!?
No he is a false teacher. How to you reconcile the leg lenthening deception he does, the crossless, void of talking about sin while witnessing and his teaching of the prosperity gospel?
Theology has become a bad word among many believers and it’s really just the knowledge of God.
Amazing
I do think that the cross, ultimately, shows us both the love of God and the severity of sin, all at once...
these are just my thoughts on the Atonement, coming from an ancient Orthodox perspective: not denying the "punishment" aspect of the Cross (in context) ... but seeing the Satisfaction of Justice as being, primarily, the redemptive work of the Son in reordering, re-righting and recreating all things in Himself (and manifesting his holiness and reality in Christ), rather than the Father venting/pouring wrath upon the Son.
"For it please the Lord to bruise him"
"And He hath laid upon Him, the iniquity of us all"
"For the joy before him, he endured the cross, scorning its shame"
Is God punishing God on the cross?
Well, No. God is triune and does all things in a triadic way... "that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself" (2 Cor 5)... He (the Son) "offered Himself through the eternal Spirit unblemished to God (the Father) (Heb 9)
Is God punishing a human person on the cross?
Humble God
"Because He humbled Himself - even to the death of the cross"
Amazing Love!
Dr. Brown, rebuke this charalton
My problem with both is that the believe in penal Substitutionary Atonement. Though I love Todd White but PSA is wrong.
It is not wrong, it is taught from the Old Testament to the New Testament.
@@57andstillkicking explain
Indeed, a complete switch was made on the cross: you in all your sinfulness and darkness died, rising to new life in God and for God, by the power of the Holy Spirit (->repent, have faith in Christ, get baptised, receive Holy Spirit)
May we be blessed by him today and forever and receive meekly with thanksgiving the free gift of eternal, abundant life, amen.
