In this episode of the Remnant Radio Josh and Michael Interview Evangelist Todd White of Lifestyle Christianity. A recent bit of controversy surrounds Todd due to the popularity of the American Gospel Documentary along with Todd's recent "I Repent for not Preaching the Full Gospel" sermon. As the spotlight turns to Todd, there is a great deal of confusion on what Todd really believes. Is he a prosperity preacher? Does he believe Jesus was only a Man? Does Todd White believe that Christians can suffer?
We had a three-hour interview with Todd White to get to the bottom of some of these serious accusations. This is but part one of that nearly three-hour interview. In this video, we don't really dive into the theological questions too much. This video is almost entirely about Todd Whites Testimony.

Amen! I love the whole Mission of this theology podcast. While we as believers don't always agree on all doctrines, we still hold to Jesus Christ at the center. And if we really love Jesus, those "doctrines" won't divide any longer.
I'm not saying it's okay to be wrong on a few things, but you don't have to have all of your theology in a perfectly composed line in order to be used by God to get people saved and delivered.
Sometimes we take people's words and illustrations out of context and assume the worst... but at the core, do they love Jesus and want others to know him?
Glory to God for this channel that is building bridges in the body of Christ.
Grace, yes, but giving him gullibility is not giving him grace.
I love that the hosts of remnant radio have a posture of humility in their interviews while also being faithful to never compromise on the truth of the gospel!
I appreciate that they've taken the time to interview people like Todd White and that Bethel guy and let them tell their own sides of the story without being confrontational. The interviewees own words will convict them one way or the other without doing the Hardball Political Interview.
@@stevesamson3940 something beneficial that might have gotten overlooked in both the Todd and the Bethel leader interviews, is that they both admitted they could do a better job of articulating more precise language. Todd even said "thank you, this is helping me."

I was a big critic of Todd White. But man, hearing his life’s story really does change your view of someone. It’s obvious his intention to serve God is honest although his doctrine was wrong. I will be praying for him so that God completes the work in his life. God bless, Todd White!

He’s a manipulative confidence trickster, an actor and a legend in his own mind. EVERY single time he talks, he talks about his drugs and pornography. He talks about HOW humble he is and the HOURS he spends in his secret place, weeping and snorting and sniffing with God. “It’s all about Todd, it’s all about Todd”.

Tears of joy and conviction while listening. The way Dan treated Todd and his family makes me want to love and disciple better. Thank you Jesus for loving us. I feel moved, what if the body of Christ actually humbled ourselves to repent of our traditions and false beliefs and came together and loved one another. The world would see Jesus! Many people say things about Todd but there is a child like faith and endearing quality about him. I loved hearing his testimony. Praise the Lord for how He saved him

@Ima MisFit I disagree with Todd White. I also disagree with John Piper’s calvinism, or Max Lucado’s beliefs about the gifts of the spirit. Does that mean I should discredit their testimonies too?
@Ima MisFit That is completely incorrect. His core theology is in tact too is the funny part. While I disagree on some topics, he believes in the Trinity, that only belief in Christ and repentance warrants eternal life, and every other core doctrine. If we invalidated every testimony because of secondary disagreements, no one outside of your self righteous circle would have a valid testimony. The world sees us putting down fellow believers and that is proof to them that our God isn’t real. Please don’t be gross. Attempt to exemplify Christ by praying for our fellow brothers and sisters. Don’t put them down like some self righteous Pharisee.
I am saying this as a current seminary student and as a Charismatic Pentecostal. Lots of people run away from emotion because they believe it drives them away from truth. Many run away from theological reason because it drives away from being human ha! Both are needed. A faith without emotion will dry you up, make you bitter. No wonder we see so many videos of folks "defending the faith" and they sound like bitter dried up anger filled bashers. You can lots of knowledge and 0 affections, passion, love for God. You can see Brother White in Love with a living God! Yes maybe theology is shaky, but his humility, repentance willingness to grow, if you do not see it your blind. Love y'all

I know Aetheists that act like humble nice people and show a lot of “emotion” or “passion”. That doesn’t qualify them to lead a church… “shaky theology” is a bid deal when you’re leading a church.
I’m curious what your thoughts are on his 100% verified fraudulent leg healings? Are we suppose to ignore the fact the he went around manipulating hurting people for YEARS… doing the same trick that’s now been 100% exposed as one of the most common old parlor tricks in the world. And, now he stopped doing it since everyone knows it’s a fraud…never admitted it, still says they were real, and never repented… We’re suppose to ignore that and support him to lead a church… becuase gets emotional??? I’m not against Todd, but he really needs to verify some claims he has made. For example, he says in his testimony on several occasions that he was in the Marines. Yet, he also says he was illiterate up until his 30s. How did he pass the ASVAB, and does he have a document for his discharge? The truth is important.

Hearing his heart has made me eager to know him and I appreciate the platform you guys gave him and you’ve given so many people to talk through their journey to create a place of growth, not just for your guess, but a place of growth for all of us!
I am thankful for heresy hunters. If it wasn’t for them, I might not have given Todd White a second glance. It is very apparent he honours Jesus. I do not believe any of the lies that say “he fakes healings”.
Throwing Todd under the bus is not we should be doing however I am not going hug hug. This is a gentleman that has allied himself with Kenneth Copeland a man that has made a mockery of God and has abused people and his position. So I will chew the meat and spit out the bones 🦴 on this one.

i used to be skeptical of todd white before watching this but his testimony made me ugly cry. todd's genuine love for jesus is undeniable.

I agree with Todd on all points. It's a tough but very real point from "Gods perspective". Although sometimes things are not so clear, but pray and ask God for the strength and be patient. Well all struggle with our sin nature. Praise God!
Guys from Remnant Radio. I looked up your videos after I saw you in a cessationist/continuance debate with Joel Webban and Doug Wilson... which was amazingly unproductive. I watched two or three other video's before getting to this interview with Todd White. So after watching hours of various theological debates this interview with White was a blessing.

This is the first time I'm hearing Todd White talk, and his testimony is fantastic! I've heard his name before and I know he's criticized, but I don't know what his teachings are that has everybody in a huff.

Todd white certainly sounds genuine and compelling he's very charismatic character. Unfortunately he runs with the new apostle crowd, and the old benny hinn Kenneth Copland even named as his spiritual father. Can't remember his name this instant but tod was mentored by another long winded smooth speaker amazing story teller that mainly talks about himself for hours on end until you go awa with nothing but how spiritual they are snd feeling like you could never attaine.

Two things really don’t sit right with me when listening to THIS version of the story(there are many and all are different)the consistent disregard of the trauma he put his daughter through in these scenarios ,he is much too flippant about it as if she is a afterthought because it’s really about him,also what Todd did at that funeral to the children of the deceased is totally inappropriate and ill timed.Again,he literally made a funeral about himself.

Well why didn’t Todd do any COVID healings. He only does the lengthening of legs trick. Don’t be deceived even Satan knew scripture. I thought this was supposed to be a short version of his testimony. Also everything that happened to him was always so crazy unbelievable give me a break
I dunno that seems pretty judgmental and not in a Christlike discerning way. He seems to consistently talk about how terrible he was to his (now) wife and daughter and doesn’t shirk any of the blame. I honestly don’t see how he could really get more apologetic. Also while I’m not a follower I’ve herd him share his testimony a few different times and this is pretty much the same as he always tells it.

The church Needs to unite. We are the bride of Christ. The people that tend to defame other Christian leaders have never even met those they defame. We ought not speak against our brother/sister unless we Know what we speak of. I fully vouch for Todd White. I attended his school LCU. He is a man of God. Let us pray for discernment and not believe gossip.
There are plenty of christian leaders who need to be defamed for the heresy they teach. What they teach and peddle to people is misleading. That's part of the issue with the church today. No one calls these "leaders" and they keep on deceiving people.
2 Timothy 2:24-26
24 And the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil, 25 correcting his opponents with gentleness. Christian leaders are held to a higher standard. They are to be called out when they are not teaching the truth. We are not to let them continue spreading false teaching.

It is literally Todd’s gospel according to Todd, about Todd, and everything comes back to Todd and down to Todd . It’s weary making, the constant attempts he makes to legitimize his spiritual calling without the true gospel of Christ. He declares that “heaven went bankrupt to save his soul”. This is a scary false doctrine, especially in a world where new age doctrine is infiltrating the pulpit, convincing “christians” of the divine within. Todd’s a cog in the new age christian machine.
And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death.
I'm still skeptical but willing to watch the second half of the interview. What I really want to know is where does he buy his shirts ?

Powerful testimony. I may not agree with Todd White on many things, but one thing I can't deny is his experience. Powerful testimony. To those throwing stones, pray for him. My prayer is that he finds someone who can truly disciple him, someone who is theologically sound.

I love him and he is on the way to the truth, the way, and the life. But…..he is not ready to be a teacher yet!!!!!!
this is a man who claims he can save people who dont want to be saved , which is unbiblical. This is a man who claims to not sin , which is unbiblical. how anyone can even allow their minds to be fooled into the whole leg growing thing as works of god is just desperate beyond measure. He earns a fair bit of money from being the person he is and that is why he does it.
Just because he gives a compelling testimony, it doesn't mean he is a man of God. We need to look at the totality of his actions and teaching.
He said that Kenneth Copeland is his spiritual father. That alone should be pause for concern. Please be discerning Christians!

This is a place of utter joy for Todd - getting to talk about himself for an hour!!! All you gotta do is listen to his presentations and you’re gonna hear how self focused and scripture twisted he is. His mentors and spiritual fathers are Dan Mohler, Ken Copeland and Bill Johnson, none who are sound or safe. It doesn’t take a lot of research comparing what they ‘teach’ to what Gods word says. They all tend to raise and praise themselves and each other up. Jesus is simply the name they use to dupe their listeners into giving money and making them rich.

@@devjono He never said that. He said he didn't preach the full gospel. Meaning God was giving him deeper revelation of the gospel recently. Any person who claims to know it all is lying. Even John MacArthur has levels of the gospel he can still grow in understanding.
