How can people downvote something like this? Lord have mercy on them. Todd is talking about purity and godliness. Is there a problem with that? The hatred in the Christian community is reprehensible. The world has crept into the church in so many ways. Disagree, if you must, but do it in love. And do not get in the way of what God is doing, even if you don't understand it or you don't agree with all aspects of it. No one is perfect, but God works through imperfect vessels who are willing.
You can speak to one person and an entire region can hear the good news, just like in the Bible. Leaning on God's understanding collects a larger harvest every time, than leaning on your own understanding.

Great video! Brian may want to consider finding another word for "wow" or just stay quiet:) Love the push against secular movies. This is apostolic doctrine to be holy and live holy with actions.
Around the 17 minute mark, Todd says if we want to watch movies we must not love Jesus. I think I understand what he is trying to say, but to say that God isn't currently using mainstream media for His glory is not true. God is pouring out His Spirit across the whole world, on ALL flesh, and is taking over the world in the name of Jesus Christ. That means He is using things that are in the world to further His Kingdom. For example, the Lord Jesus led me to go see a movie called "Annhilation," starring Natalie Portman. I believe this movie was very prophetic and symbolic of how the Lord is creating all things new. From what Todd said at the 17 minute mark, me doing this is the same as saying I don't love Jesus. This is unfair and untrue. Again, I don't think Todd means any ill-will, but as a prominent leader in the Church, we need to be very careful at choosing our words.
God's number one goal is to have a loving relationship with His people. He will use what you do and what you choose to see to get closer to Him. That doesn't mean He supports you watching movies produced by those who live by sin. God has spoken to me through many things, before when I lived in sin, that I shouldn't have been doing or watching. God is love. (1 John 4:8) He cannot and will not "produce" sin for Holy ways. That being said, not every movie is riddled with sin. If the producers, writers, directors, ect.. have no relationship with God or even a minimally lazy-one, it's a 100% chance there will be sinful and earthly ideals in the movie. Which is 100% against God since he is 100% pure and holy. Todd is referring to movies not made with those of true Christian faith and ideals. If they aren't Christians, it shouldn't be watched. Imagine what you were into before you were saved or before you really gave up everything to God and accepted His love. By saying, "You don't love Jesus if you watch movies." he is referring to (John 14:15.) "If you love me, you will obey my commandments." If it is not from God, it is not of God, and anything not of God, is sin. Jesus just wants our love. That is it. Watching things made from sin, even a little bit, separates us from God, which is outside of His will for us. (Isaiah 59:2) "But your wickedness has separated you from your God, and your sins have hidden His face from you so that He does not hear."
I love it when i see a lot of dislikes on a Christian video, especially one that is disliked by even some 'Christians'. I know that the enemy is discrediting the goodness of God, that's why I deeply enjoy bold leaders like Joel O'steen and Joseph Prince. (see Gala. 4:28-29)
to the person who could understand the truth of what I had just said, I pray in Jesus' name for him/her to receive boldness and an earnest heart to reveal the grace, mercy and love of God to those whom you come in contact with. Thank-you Jesus, Amen.
Also, we should not be afraid to take some serious time off from our affairs and really assess ourselves. I understand this may be difficult for some who are moving full speed ahead with what they understand to be ministry but it may be necessary, at times, for our own souls salvation.

How can people downvote something like this? Lord have mercy on them. Todd is talking about purity and godliness. Is there a problem with that? The hatred in the Christian community is reprehensible. The world has crept into the church in so many ways. Disagree, if you must, but do it in love. And do not get in the way of what God is doing, even if you don't understand it or you don't agree with all aspects of it. No one is perfect, but God works through imperfect vessels who are willing.
This blesses me so much!
You can speak to one person and an entire region can hear the good news, just like in the Bible. Leaning on God's understanding collects a larger harvest every time, than leaning on your own understanding.

Around the 17 minute mark, Todd says if we want to watch movies we must not love Jesus. I think I understand what he is trying to say, but to say that God isn't currently using mainstream media for His glory is not true. God is pouring out His Spirit across the whole world, on ALL flesh, and is taking over the world in the name of Jesus Christ. That means He is using things that are in the world to further His Kingdom. For example, the Lord Jesus led me to go see a movie called "Annhilation," starring Natalie Portman. I believe this movie was very prophetic and symbolic of how the Lord is creating all things new. From what Todd said at the 17 minute mark, me doing this is the same as saying I don't love Jesus. This is unfair and untrue. Again, I don't think Todd means any ill-will, but as a prominent leader in the Church, we need to be very careful at choosing our words.
God's number one goal is to have a loving relationship with His people. He will use what you do and what you choose to see to get closer to Him. That doesn't mean He supports you watching movies produced by those who live by sin. God has spoken to me through many things, before when I lived in sin, that I shouldn't have been doing or watching. God is love. (1 John 4:8) He cannot and will not "produce" sin for Holy ways.
That being said, not every movie is riddled with sin. If the producers, writers, directors, ect.. have no relationship with God or even a minimally lazy-one, it's a 100% chance there will be sinful and earthly ideals in the movie. Which is 100% against God since he is 100% pure and holy. Todd is referring to movies not made with those of true Christian faith and ideals. If they aren't Christians, it shouldn't be watched. Imagine what you were into before you were saved or before you really gave up everything to God and accepted His love. By saying, "You don't love Jesus if you watch movies." he is referring to (John 14:15.) "If you love me, you will obey my commandments." If it is not from God, it is not of God, and anything not of God, is sin.
Jesus just wants our love. That is it. Watching things made from sin, even a little bit, separates us from God, which is outside of His will for us. (Isaiah 59:2) "But your wickedness has separated you from your God, and your sins have hidden His face from you so that He does not hear."

Also, we should not be afraid to take some serious time off from our affairs and really assess ourselves. I understand this may be difficult for some who are moving full speed ahead with what they understand to be ministry but it may be necessary, at times, for our own souls salvation.

If people dont agree with what hes talking about dont watch it stay starved. Read philippians chapter one the whole chapter. The end of this chapter is amazing. People are going to try judge those who have a relationship with God. Even people of the church will judge ministers, Jesus himself was judged by leaders of the church. Jesus was crucified by the scribes and the pharacies. If you really know Jesus you will hear his voice, when i hear Todd white preach i hear Jesus Christ, the Lord and savior talk through him, i know he walks with the holy spirit and has a relationship with God. Philippians 1:29 for unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe, but also to suffer for his sake. Satan can't stand seeing Jesus Christ saving lives so hes going to try destroy the names of the messengers that God sends to us.
