Add to that the fact that Maddie also mentioned that everybody said she looked just like Sharpay but then everybody, including the director, said they "didn't see the resemblance."

This is CLEARLY commentary on how Zac lipsynched to Drew Seeley in the first HSM. 😯
It could be, but I think since the episode is called “Lip Syncin’ in the Rain”, it’s more of a reference to the movie Singin in the Rain, which is mostly about dubbing in the moving pictures industry.
They blended the voices together
Rangermc if you think Zac only singing 5% by doing 2 lines at the very beginning and end of Something New & Breaking Free, and Drew LITERALLY singing everything else, the other 95% and real meat of the songs...if you think that’s a fair and equal blend, then you need to go back and study math. There was no blending, Zac sang maybe 30 seconds the entire film at MOST.
