Hi steve, love the videos of this epic journey, I want to share with you an old trick I was shown by a friend with a quad bike used for bush bashing when it comes to getting the tyre to seal on the rim, I saw the video the other day of all the dramas you guys had with your mates bike, and I remembered my mates solution and it is good old dish washing liquid, you run a small amount of the dish liquid around the tyre edge where it meets the rim, leave it sit for a minute or so and then inflate the tyre like normal, dish washing liquid is very slippery and because of how thick it is, it seals itself against air loss, because its so slippery, the tyre just slides up the rim easily and the extra thick liquid seals it air tight, with all the gear you guys carry on your journey , a little 200ml squeezy bottle of dish liquid ( parmolive works a treat ) wouldnt take much room at all, and it will save you many dramas out on the ride, cheers.

Great video (and series) Steve! Was at Manning Gorge in 2016 - no barrel floats back then, we used an old aluminium punt on a rope pulley system to get across the first creek.
