This video demonstrates the Boss Rush Mode available in the PS2 port of Gradius IV. It's basically a time attack where you have to kill all the bosses as quickly as possible (The Gun Wall and Gofer are missing however). I haven't really attempted to optimize this yet, so I'm open to any strategies anyone has for quick kills.

Back in the good old days when ports are not "arcade perfect," but EXCEEDING arcade quality. I still believe, to this day, that the PS2 era was truly the GOLDEN AGE of video game history for consumers.
Cant belive GRADIUS COLLECTION port of Gradius IV lacked the Boss Rush and 2 Player modes. Man, the PS2 Port of GRADIUS IV really is amazing!
The photon torpedo class was my favorite class. Just full on frontal assault. AKA the boss killer loadout lol
Very nice graphics, it looks cool.
It's not so hard on Boss Rush Mode, cause the whole game run is really hard.

A tip: watch movies at Flixzone. Me and my gf have been using them for watching a lot of movies during the lockdown.

Gradius 4 good times.....mainly with boss rush cause I never beat the game myself when I was younger, why aren't all these on PSN?

Probably disagreement on how to split the profits between Sony and Konami.

The one you destroy in Salamander was, to my knowledge, merely one of many.
They are in Gradius 5 too! In the first stage of the game!
