    Judge Boyce absolutely did the right thing by making the arguments on the record to fix the clerical error, he is very smart and won't leave an error on the record to jeopardize the case. Rewatch the Vallow sentencing hearing zoomed in on him and you will see how attentive he is.

      His rationale was very good. It was clearly a copy/paste clerical error and should not to a dismissal of a murder charge. If John Pryor has a clerical error, it should be handled the same way.

    Tylee wasn't dismembered, she was butchered with rage and hate. He said he would turnher pain level to 10 and infuse her!

    • @marygoff3332
      @marygoff3332 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +14

      She was very likely stabbed as you mentioned. Based on the deep penetrative wounds found in her pelvis, away from her joints. Additionally, cut marks were found which could support dismembering her corpse...

    • @miriamiuricich6636
      @miriamiuricich6636 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +19

      Dismembering means cutting the body up in sections, usually at the joints for arms, legs and neck and halving the torso. You are right Paula, she was butchered and hacked. The wound marks on the pelvic region are particularly disturbing and indicate a deep hatred of Tylee as a female as much as her being a “zombie”.

    • @H37P5kY57

      I still don't understand their ratings or what pain levels really mean. Like hearing Chad say he's turning up pain level on Tylee or JJ to protect what from whom, is it supposed to be fighting their dark? I want to understand their thinking to understand what was the full manipulation and delusion.

    • @samsinclair656
      @samsinclair656 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Yeah the jail fone call was detrimental for chad, it totally squashed the whole “chad was manipulated” theory cos it was clear he was the one calling the shots, everyone whos followed this case knew that but for ppl that didnt and especially the jury i cant imagine there wud be any doubt after hearing that…will be interesting to hear from chads kids…this case has also maybe highlighted that his kids were aware of some things so if anything chad letting his kids do this for him just goes to show he has no love for anyone really cos his kids will live with the repercusions of this and he cudnt even just take responsibility without throwing his own kids on the pile aswell… heather daybell called everything ! And she also said she hopes they wudnt sabotage themselves for chad but they have… one major thing i hope comes from this is emmas child gets investigated, cos i do believe she has the same beliefs as her dad and the fact kids being found buried in his garden didnt really faze at her any further than how it was gonna affect chad n disrupt their lives, massive safe guarding issue if u ask me, any person let alone mother who wudnt be absolutely horrified by this needs looked into if u ask me

    • @MaybeitsclusterB
      @MaybeitsclusterB 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I'm torn on this. I'm not sure he was there in the house...
      Chad could have easily held Tammy face down in a pillow by using his knees and/or body weight while only holding one arm (maybe even like an. Officer would, twisted up behind her back 💁🏻)

    • @nikan7704
      @nikan7704 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Cheeseman1717 I think this as well. It doesn't seem like most people have thought about this much, at least I haven't seen any comments about Garth. I think that he either saw or heard something, or knew at the very least that Chad's story the next morning didn't match with what had actually happened. That's why he was unusually quiet. Either he suspected or knew that Chad wasn't telling the truth, and didn't know how to handle it.

      In regards to chuds kids... I can not feel bad for adults who can not think critically. They are willfully keeping ignorant but worse than that, they're not ignorant- they are arrogant, especially Emma! They have the info/evidence but refuse to go against their father. I love my Dad. He was the better of my 2 bio parents (I have step parents) but if the evidence was stacked against him, you bet I'd be doing a deep dive and listening and going to all court appts to
      1) support him from afar
      2) make sure that none of his rights were violated and he was given a fair trial but also
      3) justice for the community and the victims.
      I can't imagine being so brainwashed that the particular evidence in this case, not convincing me.

      As a person with borderline personality disorder (because my dad was a narcissist like these fre@ks), it is categorized as the most painful mental illness (caused by neglect) and it creates turmoil in all relationships and jobs. I have spent the last 13 years working on that and trying to life a happier, functional life and take responsibility for my thoughts and choices. My point is, at some point we have to make the decision as adults to take responsibility for ourselves. Those kids are adults now. Time to cut the cord and do the most logical thing ever- those kids need ti hear BOTH sides and make an informed decision and not this cult mentality cr@p anymore. I also used to feel bad for them but after hearing the evidence- they are blindly supporting a MONSTER. My empathy is gone.

    As usual sat here with my morning coffee in 🇬🇧 at 7
    30am as i do every morning there is a courtroom insider video.
    What happened with tylee was beyond horrific, you have to be some kind of sick minded individual to hack a young girl to death then burn her! To me that screams hatred, that wasnt just a murder...that was pure anger & hatred towards that poor girl.
    Poor poor JJ, a much loved little boy who had lost his dad, his sister & clearly the person he called mum because she was too busy thinking about herself & her future husband! I cant even imagine how he felt as he was clearly alive & aware of what was going on when they wanted rid of him.
    My son is 25 & autistic, i am his biggest cheerleader & have been his entire life, i cannot imagine thinking his life is worth less because.of it! My youngest daughter is 15, she is sassy, mouthy, messy, loud...all the things teens are & again i cant imagine her life being worth nothing because of it.
    I believe lori had issues, serious psychiatric issues & clearly had a personality disorder too. She reminds me of my late mum...flirting, needing money & validation, always wanting more. She would lie as if it were real, she was so convinced she was a psychic & a witch that had powers if anything good happened it was because she did a spell...she said this with a straight face every time! My partner got a new job after a year of being out of work. A well paid job in which he had to prove his skills at a 3 interview process. When he got the job it wasnt because of his own hard work, no it was because she did a spell! She was a compulsive liar that if you called her out on anything would ignore that you knew the truth & change the subject to avoid it!
    When she died suddenly it was bittersweet, i was angry she never got help but also sad she was gone. I was the one that found her, she was in bed...i can confirm her dead body did not roll off the bed!!
    Living with lori at the end must have been hell, she was so hyper fixated on this affair & religion she would've had no time for anything else. The kids were clearly in the way but she liked the money too much so didnt want to give them up because that meant bye bye bulk of the money which is the absolute tragedy in all this! 4 lives gone & for what? 2 peoples sick fantasies/delusions & greed! It really was all about money, power & sex!
    Sorry for the long post, if you got to the end Thank-you 😊

    Nate, I'm in Pleasant Grove Utah. I'm from Idaho Falls and have watched Eastern Idaho News from the beginning. I love the insight you present on these trials.
    I feel more people had responsibility for what went on prior to the death of these lovely people. Charles gave a warning, which seems to have fell on deaf ears. Lori's family should take responsibility for not listening to his warnings. Instead, they just shut him out. So, he lost his life and could not protect his children.

    Hi, Nate! Watching from north Idaho and not missing an episode since the trial started! I love your coverage and insights, as well as your compassion for the victims and their families. Thank you for the interview with Laura (Juror #4) on Friday, too.
    This is such a twisted and difficult case. I know in my bones that Chad was involved in the murder of Tammy... if he didn't do it himself, he was there when it was done. The timing is very wonky. A body in rigor falling off a bed is extremely far fetched. Garth must have been so traumatized having to help Chad getting her back on the bed. I am just thankful that she eventually had an autopsy. That was a close call. Idaho's, or any, (non-medically educated) coroner system is very bizarre, in my opinion.
    My prayers continually go out for the families and the individuals affected by this case. Their lives are changed forever. Thank you, again, Nate and team, for your great coverage. The coming week will bring more drama, I am sure, as we hear the defense as presented by John Prior. Hope you all have a good week as this all unfolds...

    I am very curious to hear the defense, I am so thankful that we live in a country that allows that... that being said... I will be so thankful when this is all over. This trial has taken it toll on the Vallow, Woodcock, Daybell families. Kay, Larry, Aunt Vikki, Samantha, and many, many more, have had to sit through these trials and have their worst nightmares put on screen for the world to see. There were too many days that they had to leave the courtroom due to panic attacks, grafic images, and grafic testimony of their own loved ones. I can't even imagine the horror that these families have had to live through day after day for the last 5 years! And it's still not even close to being over (back to Arizona after this). I'm not a religious person, but I really do pray for healing and strength for all the families and jurors who've had to hear and sit through these trials. I don't know anyone whose life has been destroyed by these despicable people, but I love them and mourn with them, and my heart breaks for all of them❤

  • @lindamcneil711

    Thanks again, Nate. I sure hope the prosecution finishes their point with the overlap of timelines where Chad puts himself at the scene of the burial site with his raccoon text at eh same time that Alex was at his house. Alex was at the fire pit by cell pings. Chad stated he was at the fire pit. Both were at the fire pit where Tylee was buried.
    This frames the rest of the events, to me, to put it Al, in perspective of Chad’s overt involvement with the murders and conspiracies.
