There's a person who immediately acknowledges that she is part of a team and that the others who work there are also doing good work for the victims of domestic violence. Humility and generosity---wonderful qualities for someone in her position.
@@victorblock3421 Coffee burn your lips this morning, Victor? Or maybe you think people should take all the credit themselves and not share the glory with their co-workers. Or maybe you don't like shelters like this because you sent a woman there.
Anytime I need to see the good in our country instead of the anger, hate and divisiveness, I look at East Idaho News - Feel good Friday, Secret Santa. Of course, I also need to be ready to embrace the tears. Thank you for bringing out the best in us. Billy in Georgia.
A sweet and humble woman who didn't want the recognition for herself. I bet she took everyone out to lunch with her gift card and bought something for all to share on Amazon.
Naomi appears to be a humble, beautiful person - inside and out 🙌🏻✨💃🏻- so nice she received a Feel Good Friday Christmas🎁🎄 bonus! The work those women are doing for the community is honorable🎉 and imperative!🎈
Such a wonderful young lady who is humble and appreciates the whole team. She and all the staff deserve many Blessings forever. Love from Johannesburg, South Africa.xx.
Mega thank you to this young volunteer, she said. Lots of violence out there. Keep up the great work. Let's hope for less than 600 people next year needing help. Thanks Nate. You're a good man.
@@janicecanfield9211 not only is there lots of violence out there, as you know, Rexburg Idaho has experienced some of the worst violence in the history of Idaho in the last few years. The same has happened in Moscow Idaho. Maybe somebody should study organized religion and its relation to child killings. However nobody wants to talk about that.
👋 William. I'd sure agree to your comment. I was a victim of csa (NOT my dad) for 3 years. I'm pro kids and anti abuse. Be a good fella and keep watch. I can be walking in a mall, see a young girl and how the man with her strokes her head, I cringe. There's an international sign anyone can use if they are in trouble. Hope you know it.
If you're happy with yourself that's all that's important in your personality. If you find peace, if you are happy, if you found yourself as a human being, no matter what adults did to you as a child, forgive them. This is the only way I found to be able to grow. They're all gone now, which is sad for me. I'm still here. Mainly because I found how to forgive them and stay away from them.
The way Naomi tried to steer away from her being the center of attention, she will probably spend it with the whole team or maybe even donate it to DV survivors..... She's a Saint!!!
This is such an important job. Although it was 40 years ago, I still remember the name of the Victim/Witness Advocate who held my hand before I testified in court against a man who followed me out of a restaurant and assaulted me. I encourage all women to come forward, even if it's traumatic and somewhat embarrassing. It's not your fault.
And hey please don't forget about us over here in Western Idaho. WSU has the Big Holiday bowl. I guess that would be on fox @4:00 p.m. mountain standard time. For all the foreigners out there, that is just before the sun goes down. Well if you're on the other side of the earth it's just before the sun comes up. But trust me the game has not been played yet.

What a humble woman pointing out that others do what she does. She is sharing the glory. Bless you all for what you do.
I'll bet those food cards went as you said "..sharing the glory".

The events of my youth turned me into Type A personality, so that's good.
Here's to a great 2025 for us all.

I‘m glad their work is recognized. On the other side I’m really sad that there are at least 600 people a year who need their help… 😢

Love her! Wants to shine on others not her!! Thank you SS & Nate & his East Idaho News Elves! ❤
The fact that she wouldn't take any direct credit for anything without mentioning the entire team speaks volumes about her.
I am a narcissist abuse survivor (Not in a romantic relationship) so, thank you for everything you do.
Ok❤😊

Do the accept or even recognise men that have suffered domestic violence and sexual assault by women?
Many organizations do.
