Some people claim that the action of writing down notes helps you remember, even if you never review the notes later. They said it, not me. No expert here. Just some guy...
Hii, I’m studying Korean and when I study with dramas, I usually focus on vocab and learning it in context, so I write down phrases and words. Then I’ll put it all in Memerise. I have a separate study set for k-dramas/webtoons. Loved ur video!
A Love So Beautiful is definitely my favorite drama of all time along with this historical romcom The Romance of Tiger and Rose. Other contemporary cdramas that I loved are Lovely Us and Run For Young (but I don’t think this one has readily available subtitles :( )
Ahhh I just saw your comment! I’ll check out those ones too then! :D always looking for recommendations! I forgot to mention it but I really like Put Your Head on my Shoulder too!
I don't have Netflix yet, but its learning features sound very useful. I watch C-drama series on TH-cam. I pick ones where I can have both Mandarin and English sub-titles (which might overlap). Favorites series: (modern) Be Yourself; Walk Into Your Memory; GO into your Heart; I don't Want to be Friends With You; (Historic) The Imperial Coroner; Female Student in Imperial College; Nothing Gold can Stay.
To learn from immersion/tv shows, I think the most used method is making digital flashcards from them. So you can have audio or video on the front and the written subtitle/translation on the back. (Or however you want of course :) )
@@danai5985 Not too sure, I don't use flashcards actually (i'm not the most regular learner so SRS doesn't really go well for me :p ) From what i could google ("sentence mining"), I found that you can put audio + screenshot on the front in Anki and to automatically generate such cards you can use subs2srs or substudy. :)
I started learning Hangul 2 years ago learned basics and basic words then i just watched kdramas and i think now i pretty much understand korean expect some words not used often.
Learning through dramatization is exciting and effective method of learning, I love it! Thanks for sharing about this. I've been learning Spanish on Duolingo app and website, I have desires to learn Chinese too and of course I will consider applying C dramas.
I don't think you can use it on your phone! :( I have an Apple phone too so use safari on that but I had a google and people say you can't :( I'm not sure about tablets though, it sounds like you should be able to as long s you're using Chrome, that's the main thing!
I admit. I don't watch a lot of C-drama's and it's not because I don't like them, rather I don't have a lot of time to watch them. I would love to devote some time to them, and I will someday.
Thank you soo much for there tips 💗 . I’m definitely going to try writing down phrases aswell. I also find most Romance cdrama’s soo cringe 😭😭 . I find it soo hard to watch them . I’ll definitely give the longest day in chang’an a try.
Hi Damai, I just started watching your shows, I am Chinese, if you need help come to me! Also, I also LOVE cdramas (Tencent is also a good platform) TH-cam has some free videos as well! Ps : iQIYI is pronounced as the literally i not the sound of ‘e’. Tysm for your videos! what’s shows do you watch now?
"what do I do with my notes? -- NOTHING" ahahahaha a mood
🤣🤣🤣 I actually thought of you when I said that, like “this must be why Natalia doesn’t take notes” hahahah
It's Natalia 👁👄👁

Ohhh that’s a cool idea!! How would you get the video on one side? Is that something you’d do with Anki? I’ll give this a shot!! 🙏
