This is my first ever korean drama I watched. I was just 10 years old then. This drama was dubbed and aired in our national tv channel and at that time, this was so popular in my country. So many people loved this. Good memories 😍

이 드라마 촬영하는동안 배우들이랑 스텝들 다 저 음식들 몰래 집어먹느라 여념이 없었다고 함. 특히 여운계가 박정수랑 금보라랑 다른 배우들 선동해서 꼭 공범을 만들어서 몰래 들어가서 집어드시고 그랬다고 함 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
정작 박정수님(제조상궁) 과 금보라님(임오근 부인)은 같이 나오는 씬도 없는데 두분이 그런데선 합이 찰떡 ㅋㅋㅋ
제조상궁은 진짜 안 늙는다ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
최고상궁 몇번이나 갈아치우는 동안 혼자 다 해먹음ㅋㅋㅋ

진짜긴 한데 실제로는 촬영용이라 간같은건 하지 않아서 맛은 없었다고함 ㅋㅋ
옛날 사극엔 이렇게 다양한 계급의 삶을 비춰줬는데 요즘 사극은 대부분 세자와 궁녀의 사랑이야기만 집중돼서 아쉽다... 무수리 이야기도 기생이야기도 과거시험 준비하는 선비들이야기도 그들이 주인공인 관점에서 보면 재밌을것같은데🥲

대장금 중딩때봐서 다시다운받아서 정주행했는데 대작은 대작임 진짜 지금봐도 소름끼치게 재밌음 ㅜㅜ 특히 이영애가 너무 잘살렸어 ㅜ 저멱은 이영애 아니면 아무도 못소화했음 ㅜ

애초에 송윤아나 장진영을 장금이로 섭외하려 했으나 실패하고 김현주나 박은혜를 섭외하려다 복귀작을 물색중이던 영애와 소영이에게 시놉을 보냈는데 영애 쪽에서 연락이 왔더라는구나.
이게 진짜 다른 드라만 보통 초중반이나 후반 되어야 재밌는데 이 작품은 초반 중반 후반 다재밌음 ㅋㅋㅋ 진짜 명작임

I normally can't finished dramas cause i always got bored around mid episodes. Not with this one tho! Dae Janggeum has so many interesting plots and great characters! The best drama for me

When I saw this drama, didn't have any idea it was a drama. This was the first Korean content I ever saw in national tv. Still remember when they call "mamanim" ,it was "Mautarmaa" in hindi dubbed. Literally sensation of K-wave, most of contents i've seen was Korean, like "Jang Nara", Song Hye Kyo" were so famous but couldn't just differentiate from other asian countries. Now everything makes sense. Feeling nostalgic..
Without any subtitle, I have finished all the videos of "Ghar ka Chirag" coz I've already seen all this drama in my DD national channel. I loved it too much that without knowing the language, I see it with a full smile. and reminisce all my childhood memories.

I'm from the Philippines and Dae Jang Geum, Jewel in the Palace here, was the best tv drama I have ever really embraced and watched from start to finish. I have watched the whole series at least 5 times. Now I am watching it again for the 6th time! It was full of moral lessons. My take on the drama is, return evil for evil to no one.
