I didn't realise until now that I'm only subscribed to one Asian male creator whilst the rest are white. This is such a great video for discovering small creators you have never heard of before and also discovering creators who are overlooked in the (what I see as a) very white, British/American community. I always absolutely love the content you put out but I think this is one of my favourite videos so far.
beth if youre in to short films WongFuProductions are an all asian group of creators...they have guest people so theyre great for discovering asian creators channels. Check out 'The Last' w/ Kina Grannis and Harry Shum Jr. Also if you have YTred Single by 30 is incredible! (the pilot is free!) music wise: kina grannis, marie digby, joseph vincent fitness/lifestyle: scola dondo (shes a little ray of sunshine even if your not into fitness shes worth watching!)
i freaking love Scola Dondo. She kills it with the fitness videos...and its amazing to see a woman whos strong and fit and yet not stick thin (not that thats a bad thing...buy yay for representation of different body shapes!), and looks incredible...shes like a little ray of sunshine. This inspired me to see how diverse my subscriptions are and only 1/3 of ppl Im subscribed to are non-white/of an ethnic minority and I feel like that is way too little and I should be more aware of that as a white person myself. Thanks for giving me lots of new people tp check out and for giving me this chance to reflect over my viewing habits!
