Thank for the great Video, so much for the old "righty tighty" rule for screwing and unscrewing.

Absolutely amazing that they would have you turn it clockwise to open it, wow, who decided that?

Do you have any advice on how to get the cover open when it doesn't rotate with a quarter? I have opened several covers that I have at home and they open just fine, but I have one that seems to be stuck somehow and I can't figure out how. Any advice would be much appreciated!

@@katherinewagner8506 I had several of these remotes and learned that sometimes you have to use a combination of a coin, a small battery (similar to what's in there), and a very big flathead screw driver. Mostly these lids come open easily, but if the lid is slightly off its rails or it's somehow otherwise stuck they're really hard to open. It helps to apply a lot more down pressure than sidewise torque. I also remember that once I got the lid slightly moving, I had to use a very small flathead screwdriver to pop the lid up. It was a mess. Best of luck!

Tried different coins. Nothing worked except for a flat washer.

The back of the battery pack does not open with a coin, screwdriver, or anything else. Now the groove is ruined. I guess I will just have to do without. :(

To need a screwdriver 🪛 it’s really bad design. But thanks to you I could finally open it.
