I've been through 5 major spine surgeries and I hope anyone else who has suffered from nerve pain figured out how to fix it before permanent damage. Take care of your bodies, eat healthy, stay active, drink lots of water and find what makes you happy so your mind, body, and soul are all nourished. We deserve to be taken care of the correct ways and I learned that the hard way. Not all Doctors made good grades or think of cures as apposed to treating a symptom. Chemical Medication is not always the good, or rite choices.anyways the most important thing is to be kind to yourself and others. Hope anyone reading this finds peace and an abundance in life!
My poor 3 year old nephew woke up in the middle of the night screaming body murder. He's usually a brute. I've seen him smash his knee and break his arm and not care so I was worried when I heard him screaming in pain. When He broke his arm and wasn't screaming at all. Doctor thinks its a pinched nerve but there not sure yet🙏 This is happening now. Poor little guy refuses to get out of bed😞. Wish I could take the pain from him
Same…almost completely eliminated my pain after doing this 15 times, just after he described this exercise. I will be doing this more throughout the day for sure!!
Wow instant relief after almost 8 months of pain. I was ready to quit my desk job. I’m still going to see a specialist to confirm what I have. Good luck everyone
My dad has the same problem too they give him medicine I wish it will heal up because if it still hurts within 6 Months he we'll have to go to surgery 😭
What a wonderfully simple exercise. In my case, the culprit was a bed pillow that was too thick causing pain and stiffness. The pillow went on a diet and I immediately began regularly doing the exercise in this video. It feels wonderful and it managed to restore my full range of motion and get rid of the pain completely within just a few days. Well done. Even though my neck is fine now, I'm adding this exercise to my daily routine just to keep things limber. Thank you so much. It really makes a difference.
I love how you said the pillow went on a diet. I have mild mid dextroscolosis in my neck and have osteoarthritis. Wondering if I have a pinched nerve in my neck cause have had lot of those nerve symptoms and this the twice in a week couldn't sleep due to pain near left shoulder blade.

I had severe neck pain shooting to the back of my head down to my mid back/shoulder blade. I could barely move and decided to get a massage. I feel 100 times better. My girl focused on my entire spine, neck and shoulder blade.
This worked for me! I woke up with a pinched nerve in my neck it hurt so bad turning my head to the right. I did this for a few minutes, and i can barely feel it now. Thanks!
I had a pinched nerve in the cervical spine since I was a teenager. I had a lot of stinging pain in that part of the spine and my arm was weak as well. Occasionally I would turn my head the wrong way and I would see stars - it was like lightening hit my neck and arm. I went to doctors, orthopedic surgeons, everything - nothing helped. When I was about 25 yrs old I was working in Honolulu. A friend suggested a chiropractor that he was going to for treatment. On the first visit, he adjusted my neck - I saw stars and it sounded like a 1000 walnuts being cracked. Amazingly, the pinched nerve must have been released. I went for a few more treatments as well. But after that first visit, my pain disappeared and never came back. A truly amazing story but absolutely true. I was in pain every day of my life on my left side until I was treated by a chiropractor.
I had a treatment of Chiro before 10days it's helped for 2 days but now same painful condition comeback again... what should I do ??? Should I go for this treatment again???what u suggest plzz help??

I changed from sleeping on 2 pillows to 1, that gave me a ton of relief. Im going to ice it as well but i think its getting alot better now

I’ve been complaining for 2 years or distal bicep pain. Finally someone is taking me serious. An order for an MRI has been put in. I haven’t gotten a phone call yet to set up an appointment for an MRI. Just waiting. My doctor thinks it’s the c5 causing trouble
Same here guys I went to a chiropractor and it’s so brutal I’m thinking about getting an MRI and receiving proper physical therapy cuz this shit is so painful I can’t even get through my day
@@Landoftherisingsun777 Yes, insist on a EMG test. That will tell you where the pinched nerve is. Then you will be directed to get a MRI. Then they will know the right treatment. This horseing around is all for nothing.
Early January this year I had cervical radiculopathy all the way down my left shoulder and arm, complete numbness on my index and middle finger. An MRI a few days later confirmed a ruptured disc and C7 severe nerve root compression. It was only 2 weeks later I tested my left tricep strength, and I assessed it to be over 85% weaker before onset of symptoms. I couldn't straight my arm against gravity or do a single pushup so that had me worried. I started PT with chintucks, neck and upper back flexibility exercises and tricep strengthening every day. At 4 weeks I saw a neuro who recommended surgery as my arm was still very weak..but in the end decided to continue non surgical route as I felt while slow, I was still improving. Now at 9 weeks and tricep strength almost back to where I was (15% or so weaker) and now doing 10 dips / 15 Close grip/diamond pushups, where I don't really notice the weakness anymore. Pain and numbness completely gone. I know I my experience will not be like others but hopefully might help those weighing up surgery or not. If your symptoms are improving after 4-6 weeks and are disciplined to doing PT definitely recommend not opting for surgery. I feel the chin tucks, wall angels, and a few days anti inflammatories when I had stiff neck episodes really helped, as well as warm/hot baths. Nerve pain really sucks, and I was bedridden for quite a few days. Talking it through with someone can really help, and keeping at it and being patient knowing at these things tend to get better over time.
Hi I have the same tricep weakness but no pain also have slightly numb index finger. Mri tomorrow. My biggest worry is tho tricep strength not returning. Has yours fully returned? Thanks!
Hey mate, sorry to hear and I hope your recovery is going well. My progress was: pain gone in 3-4 weeks, finger numbness gone in 7 weeks. My left tricep returned to full strength (pre symptoms) around 12-14 weeks..and has been very gradual. I should have mentioned I did notice some strength loss in some of my other muscles too (shoulder/chest/lats in particular) but they have gradually improved as well over the same time period and would say now at full strength as well. I still do PT but every second/third day now and the chin tucks/stretches daily but have since resumed my other activities.
Jo I have the same and it even affected both of my arms and legs and the left side of my face. Doc and physical therapist both say it is not a herniated disc but a pinched nerve due to poor posture and a thoracic blockage. Did you also feel like you left arm was about to feel better and all of a sudden out of nowhere back to maximum pain/tingliness?
My left arm hurts gets tingling at night with numbness also my left leg, my veins bulge from my left arm too like the nerve is cutting off circulation, my neck is stiff and feels heavy, like if I sit or stand for too long I feel like I have to rest my neck
@@DiablosWrathACRGamer i have that tingly/numb sensation in my arms every night its only when i wake up for a few minutes and then it goes away .Forgot to say it all started with weakness / signal pulsating in my neck ...
I pinched a nerve in my neck nine years ago when I was 16 it hurt I was running and all of a sudden my neck started hurting bad I couldn't turn my head so if I wanted to look in a certain direction I had to turn my body.
Can pinched nerve cause pins and needles on one side of the body and also the face? I have it in my left cheekbone area, left jaw area, left hand and sometimes left foot. Also had severe neck pain for 3 weeks. Don't know if its neck related or my wisdom tooth on bottom left side that just grew in crooked.

How do i hold and look at my phone in the "correct" posture? Im pretty sure mines from looking down at my phone too much, but when i hold my phone up at chin level, my arms start to hurt.
Keep your elbows aligned with your shoulders and use a selfie stick to elevate your phone up, starting with your chin at a 90 degree angle from your spine. Then you must continue bringing your chin up higher until you can stare into the sun and your phone simultaneously.
Samantha mother of cats I have this problem too. I hear that if you’re sitting down putting a pillow on your lap makes it easier to hold the phone up higher.
My pain is on each side of my neck near the top of my shoulders . Ive been dealing with this for about 6 years now. And it's getting really bad . Sometimes it burns so bad and I can't stand the pain 😫 I started stretching a couple months ago and sometimes it help my upper back but never my neck and shoulder.
Me too but not that long..but almost 2 years. I'm realizing it's anxiety/stress related and I'm unconsciously pulling my shoulders up throughout the day. Proper diaphragm breathing exercises help me settle it down.
Thanks alot! I caught it last night while going to sleep and applied heating pad and later in the morning as well. I searched all over the place and finally on TH-cam for some home remedy, as soon as i understood what it was through this video and did this neck and hand exercise you suggested it instantly showed results 👍

I’ve been complaining for 2 years or distal bicep pain. Finally someone is taking me serious. An order for an MRI has been put in. I haven’t gotten a phone call yet to set up an appointment for an MRI. Just waiting. My doctor thinks it’s the c5 causing trouble
I have pinched nerve in neck it’s very painful
I have also since one year ...😭😭😭😭😭
What does it feel like? I’ve had severe neck pain for 3 weeks. Not sure if this is what I have.
Same here guys I went to a chiropractor and it’s so brutal I’m thinking about getting an MRI and receiving proper physical therapy cuz this shit is so painful I can’t even get through my day
@@Landoftherisingsun777 how are you now
@@Landoftherisingsun777 Yes, insist on a EMG test. That will tell you where the pinched nerve is. Then you will be directed to get a MRI. Then they will know the right treatment. This horseing around is all for nothing.
Thank you very much 🙏🍀🌟🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Is thumb twitching a symptom of a pinched nerve in the neck ?
Thanks for this exercise. It helped me. Bless you man.
Hello, can you please name few exercises besides chin tucks
Please after 5 months are you completely healed? Please I need tips
@@jdiiz88 are you able to workout with it?

felt the tingling and weakness in my left arm and pain in my neck. have you ever heard of numbness and tingling by the jaw too?

I have no pain anywhere than my right part of the neck but it’s so severe that I can’t even get out of my bed I’m forced to look left constantly
Me too my left neck hurts so much i hsve to move my head to right , what do i do
@@dopefrancis9732 are you good now? I'm going through something like that now
@@sloworange same its such an intense pain, but it only hurts if I turn my head a certain way, I was even able to do the exercise correctly. Have you gotten it checked out yet?

Happy to help!
So when does it heal? How long does it take if you're icing it???
pov: ur watching with ur neck twisted tilted ect
Meeeee right now 😩😩😩😩
Yes😫😭

Thank you doctor for the help!
I'll keep you in my prayers. 6 years of pain is crazy. Stay active, Keep the faith, dont give up. 🙏
I was using a heating pad for my shoulder pain from the pinched nerve. A lot of people say use ice in a bag, wrapped up in a towel and put it on your shoulder. I was told heat irritates the pinch nerve. 🙏
I have problem since one year doctor said to me your muscle have been damaged what I should do I am not able to fix my problem and I have so much pain ...😣
can the tingling also go to your feet?
Wow, this actually worked! Thank you..
