That engine has some life in her. It’s rough, but I’ve seen a lot worse (I live in Buffalo). I think that truck is fixable. The frame looks very solid. Awesome video!
just found you guys on here, pretty cool, ole truck is in pretty rough shape mayb good for parts but never know lol like to see it saved but thats alot of work. willl be keeping an eye out for more vids live up in ashland here i seen you guys driving i was like i know that place lol keep up the good work
@@RuggedWrench be looking for it, bout an hour away, used to drive 661 everyday to deka but thats been years keep up the good work guys very entertaining
Eh, the small flaws to be found will buff right out.... No but seriously this makes the RV look factory fresh... You did well to get it running, I like your spirit.
@@RuggedWrench No, thank you for sharing this. Best of all, I am in the frozen cold north half way around the world and watching without needing to lift finger myself! This is what youtube is all about. Also, I am very impressed by your can-do attitude, my own talents are more for the minute pedantic details and math calculations than in the wrenching, but I know class, determination and grit when I see it! Cheers mates.
I had a 1979 Z28 Camaro with an orange block... if I remember correctly the "Chevy Orange" block indicates 4 bolt main, for the 283, 327 and 350 ci in the 1960's and 70's
When you get holes in your radiator before you put stop leaking plug the holes in the radiator with wire wool that will slow the water up long enough for the stock leak to work and a couple of eggs
In order for it to move with hubs unlocked the transfer case needs to be in high lock. That's the full time 4 wheel drive transfer case, it's supposed to have hubs locked in all time in order for the transfer case to work correctly. Witch the hubs are changed because people like using only 2 wheel drive but everything still rotates because it's a full time t-case
That’s Ben’s Fiero. He has been trying to make that into his daily driver. It was also sitting for 20 years before he got it. It runs and drives most of the time. Still working the bugs out.
That awesome but it is Chevy. Most of the time they will run But still a great video I can’t wait for the drive it would be a good hunting truck or mud truck
Transfer case has a differential in it. If one of the axels is not connected just like am Open diff will only spin the axel that isn't there.someone swapped out front axel. There is supposed to be a lock position in the transfer case that you could unlock the hubs and would still drive

White spokes n rust...a squarebodys badge of honor.🙂👍🇺🇲
Great video. Truck looks like a lot of work. Thanks for keeping it real.

👍 we aren’t far from Ashland. As of now we have other plans for this truck 😂 We will post a video of it. It’s going to be unique.

Everything looks great, except the spots that don't. Lol
That thing is pristine haha

Yes we can rebuild we have the parts!!😎👍
He he. Real challenge. I don’t think I would drive that on the road. Past sell by date I’d say.

That makes sense. I’ll give it a try
Yes but put a step side box on it
Naw utility box
What's up with the fiero in the back 32:06. We need some content on that

EMP worthy, don't you think? That makes it worth it. Very interesting video!!!!!!!
👍 an EMP won’t do a thing to this truck. Just can’t drive it far🤷♂️ just wait till you see what we are going to do with the truck next 😁
It would still be wise to keep a few key electrical components in a faraday cage. Starter solenoid, distributor, voltage regulator etc

Thats the damn squidbillies truck
😂👍
That thing was somebody's old mud truck looks like
wow that thing is really a rust bucket of course where im at rust isnt a big issue things like that get parted and body gets scrapped its done
The lock outs are after market and probably warn or mile marker
Lock in Hubs where on all old Trucks way better than that push button and electronic crap! Hubs are easy to change out to!
those are aftermarket hubs and a aftermarket seat.
It sounds good for how long it been sitting
Needs a steering coupler
I mean I would drive the shit out of it
But that is me
Id fix it up
Parts truck !
124 lol more like 324 or more pedal is worn worse than my daily 89 with 400k so might rethink that it could be 500k truck no joke but def not 124k lol
Pull the motor and junk it
We have another idea for it that could prove to be quite interesting 😂 it’s not worth fixing it.
i agree its junk barely any parts as well
Fix it up
Just wait till you see our plans for it😂😂
its junk
YT. CONTENT. PURE. GOOD!!!!
Needs rag joint for steering
