keep talking while youre working. its what gives your videos that extra "something" that sets you apart - makes you stand out. you and your sons are full of life and character and in this often plastic and lifeless world that is a real joy to behold. keep being uniquely YOU!

Yes, glad you guys went with the dog dishes! I like dog dishes because they not only present themselves, they don't hide the appearance of the steelie they're mounted on. On vintage and classics, I always loved steelies color matched to the body and dog dishes.

Back in the Day - I owned and drove a 62 Corvair that I paid $35 for as my daily driver ! I'd also bought for $200 a 63 Corvair for a PARTS CAR which was on cinder blocks in my parents back yard - I kept taking parts off the 63 to fix the 62 (battery/tires/fan belt/etc. ) until my parents sold it to the junk yard ! :-( My greatest experience in the 62 was driving my wife to the hospital at 2 in the morning to have our baby born and there was a wreck on the bridge crossing the river ! She was in labor and I told the policeman and he got people out of their cars to clear away the wrecks to let us thru AND he called ahead to let us drive rather fast to get there before she had the baby oh so many years ago !! :-)

BS on unsafe to drive. Blame Raph Nader for the misconception of unsafe at any speed. If driven normally they are as safe as the older VWs, the worlds most produced auto. The 64s were even better handling and as far as I am concerned better looking. Your Corvair seems to be the 110hp version. I preferred the turbo charged Syder as I believe the hp rating was 180ho and when connected to the 4 speed was a fun car to drive. Yep old guy here, test drove a new 63 Corvair Syder Convertible with the 4sp trans at the dealers show room. Red with white top and red interior. Just what a 17 yo needed in 63...😂😂😂

@@peteness9550 What real world are you talking about? I have a 1961 Monza and it corners better than cars built ten years later. I've been driving it for two years and have never felt unsafe. You have to really try to roll one. In July of 1972, the US Department of Transportation National Highway Traffic Safety Administration concluded that the Early Model Corvair was no more dangerous than any other automobile being built at the time including conventional front engine models.
