I just ordered the rose gold wimbledon from my AD. I love the rose gold against the green . It will be a dress watch more than a daily for me. I've got a batman and a sea dweller for daily wearing and a Chronoswiss Opus in solid yellow gold on a brown leather strap for super formal events.
I purchased a DJ 41 Wimbledon and absolutely love everything about this timepiece. The look with the slate dial, roman outlined numbers and fluted bezel makes this an extremely stylish watch. I appreciate you showing me how to adjust the jubilee wristband in the video because the salesperson did not. Great video!!

After watching this video a week ago I knew I half to have this watch so I purchase one today and I went with the oyster band 18k with a fluted bezel and I must say it is a stunning Watch I absolutely love it
I had earlier purchased Datejust41 fluted bazel with Jubilee bracelet in steel and rose gold in 2016 when it was just introduced; I had to dispose off in 2021 during COVID-19 meltdown crisis; and again I have purchased same steel and rose gold with Jubilee bracelet with wimbedon dial datejust41 in Oct-2023 from a botique in Hyderabad. I really love it and wear it all the time.
I was surprised to see the two tone version of this watch in the case when I purchased my white dial Datejust 41 5 weeks ago. I kept my DJ41 plain with the white dial, oyster bracelet, and smooth bezel since it's my daily wear watch and since I have other watches if I want to be flashy :-) Great review of a very nice watch!

I bought one just like yours only with the blue motif Dial. It's my favorite out of all my Rolexes. Thinking of getting it in white gold with green dial. I agree with you about the bracelet. I am not going to order the president bracelet. The new glide lock is just too good. It may not look as cool, I am just not willing to give up that beautiful new plasp.
I have one in two tone yellow gold on an oyster bracelet and I also have a Datejust 41 with a white gold bezel and blue dial, again on an oyster bracelet, both beautiful watches
The only way I can justify the sporty oyster clasp on the dressy Jubilee bracelet is while the watch has the Wimbledon dial. This is the best configuration of the Datejust 41 so far. I wouldn't buy the newer Datejust on the conventional dial configurations while missing the hidden clasp.
@@jasonmagruder7008 I actually ended up going white dial. It grew on me over time. I realized I like more flat dials as opposed to sunburst. No regrets to this day. If I were to choose between blue and Wimbledon now I would absolutely go Wimbledon. Much more rare.
That exact configuration is my grail. It’s one of the two best datejust dials ever made in my book. I would sell my submariner to get one but the odds of ever getting my hands on either one again are slim to none😢

Datejusts just suit Jubilees, prefer a plain bezel but that white monolith at IX o'clock absolutely ruins an otherwise gorgeous face. Very watchable review, guys; liking your work!
I have the Pagani Design version. Does that count? But in all seriousness, this Rolex is beautiful. A 36 mil version would be the only watch you ever need.

Thank you for your kind words and congratulations on your Submariner. I think the Oystersteel with blue dial is a more classic option and it will be easy to wear with everything. The Everose with chocolate could be less of an everyday watch and more for special occasions.
If you like it and can afford to pay the premium, buy it, wear it and enjoyit, and don’t sell it! Don’t think about “investment value”, anything can happen to the market, but your enjoyment of the watch, well, nobody will take that away from you! If you need to sell a kidney to pay the premium, there are plenty of nice watches that are much cheaper than this which you can buy!
Firstly no it won’t slip under a shirt calf easily ... not even 10 mm watches do. Secondly no, oyster is much more comfortable and never pulls hairs- jubileee does.
I went to the SouthCoast Plaza, the salesperson denied to order one for me, instead I left my contact information. (I guess maybe they had just already ordered a Wimbledon 41 for the gentleman who replied your comments above recently) After that I visited another retailer named Fredric H. Rubel, they still have ability to order one for me.
Wimbledon was canceled and that doesn’t mean we can’t look at this watch… no shit. It’s a watch not a tennis tournament. What an absolutely terrible script

I would go for the Oyster bracelet personally, but with either choice the watch is the definition of "Understated Elegance"

I was looking at steel DJ41mm with white dial then my AD pulled out the rose gold with Oyster & Fluted bezel.
I just ordered my DJ41 yesterday, exactly like in this video. Wimbledon dial, Fluted bezel, Jubilee bracelet.. just perfect.

I went in to by a champagne dial and walked away with a two tone Wimbledon and could not be happier
I got mine 36 mm but I change the clasp to the hidden style and I really like it

Tying to decide between the Winbledon and the Blue stick Datejust on the jubilee. Its been a hard battle but I think I am leaning Wimbledon.

Federer wore his on an oyster and it looked outstanding. Imho Smooth bezel = Oyster & Fluted bezel = Jubilee.
