When my wife and I were first married, we made the rule to never scream at each other. We also gave each other the freedom to call the other out if our voices get loud. In 13 years of marriage, we've definitely had our share of disagreements, but because of our commitment to the Lord, and each other, we've been able to talk through our differences respectfully. I'm so glad we agreed on how we would "fight" before we ever had any major "fights." God is so good!

I'm in a courtship and sometimes I get so angry for the smallest of things , in the midst of it I know that the argument is more spiritual. we have to learn to fight the true enemy and not each other.

I'm in a courtship and I have been learning to go to God first and leave it there. and you're right. The times I have done that the issue resolved itself and his behaviour changed. I needed this word.. I am currently dealing with a situation in my relationship where I felt mistreated. I wanted to pop off soooo bad but my spirit man wouldn't let me because recently I've nagged and I didn't want to be a burden to my relationship when I know it is ordained. This word brought peace to me. I don't feel that I was wrong in the situation but I asked for God to show me where I am falling short and it was in the way I wanted to respond. Thank you for your obedience to your ministry Heather.
Wow!!!! So much confirmation. A wonderful man of God and I started getting to know one another over the past few weeks. Something small bothered me and I wanted him to understand where I was coming from, but I didn't badger him about it. I briefly brought it up and then moved on, that very morning he went to church and the Holy Spirit convicted him of his small error. I was astounded at how quickly I saw the Holy Spirit move in his heart once I prayed over it and let it go. Let's truly grow in maturity & watch what the Lord has brought together flourish. Let's move mountains in the Kingdom.....Together!!!! Love you all. Thank you So much Heather for your example and constant obedience. 💕
Ugh this was something that I needed to hear. I'm not married but I do have a little brother and we fight constantly. I'm not going to lie sometimes I start it but whenever I try to apply God's word in my life I feel like that's when the enemy attacks. I'm still learning and growing. I don't want to take what I do with my brother into the marriage God will bless me with one day.
This video was so amazing! I'm no longer in a relationship because it became very toxic, but I won't place all the blame on him. I was apart of the problem as well. But since being single I just want to learn to be the best version of myself, not only for me but my future husband and children. Communication is one of my biggest problems but this video really changed my way of thinking and I'm going to actively start working on this!!!! Thank you for this ❤️
This was a GREAT video!! This was definitely something even singles can and should begin to implement into our everyday life now with our family, friends, co-workers, etc. and if the Lord has marriage for us, fighting fair and proper communication won't be a foreign concept! :)

Hey there Heather! I just wanted to Thank you for this video. I needed to hear this. My problem is anger in general. I want to say that my husband is such an Amazing man, and a GOD fearing one at that. He puts up with me, not really nagging and complaining about him, but about almost everything else life throws at me. He is a truck driver and is gone through the week and is only home a couple days a week. I love him with all my heart, but I'm not happy with myself. I love the LORD with all my heart, and pray to HIM about this anger problem I've had for far to long, but it seems as if I can't stop getting angry and depressed. Obviously there's more to the situation, and GOD knows all about it. My husband and I love each other very much, but I know he can't be happy hearing me fuss all the time every time he calls to see how me and our daughter is there's always some kind of problem. I just feel so bad about it and I really have been trying to watch my mouth lately, but it always seems to creep back up on me. Please, if you see this comment, please keep us in your prayers. My husband is such a gentle soul and so loving and caring. He doesn't deserve to have to deal with my mess. GOD Bless ❤🙏❤

Hello Heather . Thank you so so much for this. I was praying and crying out to God for clarity about some stuff in my marriage and this really helps. I love God and I want to do what is right in every way to please him, but it was a battle for me to submit to my husband because he is not save. and I constantly have to fight the feeling of bitterness and remorse because of past hurt, not wanting to let it go. as if it just happen yesterday. In my life and in my home I don't have problems like that. Everything I do in my home I am absolutely correct and never wrong. I wake up everyday energized and ready to go...Ready to take on my the day. I have maids that keep my place spotless, and they leave by the time I get home. My meals are cooked for me during the day, and the smell from my cock pot when I arrive home is to die for. I live below my means, contribute into my retirement account, and always plan for my future. I have as much time as I need to read, spend time alone, or work on my business. I come and go as I please, take great care of my body, and enjoy my hobbies whenever and with whomever as I please. I get to date a different variety of women (not have sex..But date). If I want something...I buy it...Without asking permission. If I want to go out...I do..Without asking permission. In my house there is no fighting, arguments drama, mind games, or trust issues. Most importantly everything I own is mine..All mine. I never have to wake up and wonder if my partner is happy. It's called living on your own, and being an adult. Yes people can live on their own without marriage. Try it.
