It is enjoyed by the majority of viewers so the commenter was most likely not joking. The show is much better than the movie. It has better action choreography and good directing. With that being said, the kid from Mighty Ducks who played the friend annoyed me. Casting was hit and miss. I thought KingPins character was good

Doesn't mean it's a bad movie. The same principle applies to Daredevil. Yes, it has moments of goofiness and some bad dialogue, but that doesn't make it a bad movie. The only movie to this day that pulled off the goofiness of comics but also a beautiful story is Brandon Lee's The Crow.. its been like 25 years and as bad as the acting of the little girl is, the whole story behind it is beautiful and genuinely heartbreaking
You know it never occurred to me as a kid that Daredevil jumping off buildings and then trying to swing around after falling 40 stories without tearing his arm off and falling to his death was pretty odd but then again I was running off of Spiderman fumes at the time

One time, I was walking along, and somehow I didn't see this enormous pile of dog shit, I mean, like, maybe it was already huge, and then another dog came by and shitted on the shit, is how big this pile of dog dook was, so I stepped it it, slipped, I flipped up in the air and landed on my back on the dog shit, and it splattered everywhere, and some of it got in my open mouth, and then someone driving by was like 'AHHAHA YOU SUCK' and they threw a huge cup of soda and hit me in the face with it, and as I sat up, a bird flying by shitted right in my mouth, then I puked up, and a girl walking by was like 'EWWW Do that at home!' and then swallowing the shit gave me intense diarrhea. I mean, the worst diarrhea I have ever had in my life. After a few days, it was all over, things were back to normal, and I stood there thinking to myself 'That was a really awful experience. But at least it was way better than the Ben Affleck Daredevil movie from 2003.'
