The speed of the 370 without the 2 speed gearbox is a bit fast for serious rock crawling in my opinion, but it would most likely suit your Mud Truck well to sling mud and clear the tires better when going through a hole and to help those paddle tires to propel you through the mud and water. Yes I upgraded the links aswell. Better articulation. I prefer the single speed motor and esc depends on trans choice. I would get atleast 30+amp esc and 370 is a good size motor. It comes with the metal upgrade trans amd the 2 speed. The 2 speed you have to watch the 4 link gets in the way
Hey man I checked the link to the wheels and tires, and it said they had 12mm hexes. I was just wondering how you got them to work on the truck, or is that the hex size on the truck. I've ordered on and it's on the way. Just trying to get some ideas for upgrades. BTW the truck is bad ass man.

Hi there, i like watching your video, lots of detail thank you, i would like to ask one thing,the chassis and drive train,i was thinking of widening the wheel base to suit 1/10 ,the chassis is easy to work with and modify, the props are easy to lengthen,however the hub ends might be to much,i can lengthen the shaft but the plastic casing will have to have a gap either end, i was going to slide a plastic tube over that bit and some real nice plastic glue as it needs to be sealed.what would you do? thanks.ps i would love a 2 speed trany and upgrade the motors to duel rs 540 brushed it needs to pull my boat.
i like the speed from the big truck with the 3 s but i would still like to crawl,so i would be happy with that i,m just looking closer at the MND90 i had seen it many time but ruled it out, dont know why but 1/12 is worth a look thanks man.
Its been so long. 1/16 largefoot tires Traxxas turnbuckles I think 75 or 85mm shocks And the rest was completely custom and by eye. You can go thru my videos. I think with parts and all around $200

I assume you mean the 2 metsl shafts out put on one side. I believe it is a reverse drive for optional use also some use a short shaft to connect to a large motor to drive the gearbox externally. It is just a very universal gearbox
How much rotational speed do you think a stock axle can take because I'm building a drag truck with a b16 frame and a c 24 body with a modified stock gearbox to run a 370
@@morganblancett5027 get the complete metal rear axle kit. It comes with ball bearings. Then you wont run the risk of melting plastic bushings. Otherwise they will tske a ton of rotational speed due to their simple design of being just one solid shaft very balanced. However with power you need to either get metal axle ends or jbweld the white plastic ones on. They tend to slip loose
@@morganblancett5027 im actually prepping for a high speed/drift lowered wpl truck myself. I painted frame and a few components an almost chrome silver. Was supposed to be chrome but not quite way it looks.

I made them with sheet metal off the back of a dryer. Tin snips a drill and my eye.... good luck bud...

The two-stage would be okay for pulling as long as you don't do any hard snatching
If you want to widen it the MN D90 has wider axles the 1/12
I don't think you could make it much bigger than 1/12 scale and if you could I wouldn't recommend it just not very solid of a frame for that size

75mm shocks on the blue truck. Eye to eye I think is 70mm

Dromida brushed 35t 370. I have it on 3s and it kills. Great power. Though i heard it does not like heat so short runs on 3s

I pondered it but I want to test the limit of out the box components and I've narrowed the axles to fit the lower stance the truck has
