This was the fastest video I ever saw explaining correctly choosing DPI for laser cut 👍🏻

I like the idea of using a real picture to do the fine tuning since in the end, picture quality is really what matters. Nice job.

Not all of us can afford a CO2 laser. I would be very useful if you posted projects with diode lasers.

I love watching ur videos - I sure wish there were a set that used LaserGrbl or had LaserGrbl included with outcomes with Light burn - I watch many videos and the last few steps are....add to Light burn and. Love the videos though!!

Can you explain line interval. I saw on the lightburn forum that someone put theirs in Inches instead of MM. I'm wondering if I use a lens from American Photonics for the glass tube C02 laser. I should be able to get more DPI because the beam is smaller. If I keep the line interval the same is that correct or should it be adjusted?

It would be more useful if you did this with a diode laser. But it's useful for some I guess.

Are these instructions exclusive to this particular laser? How do we find the optimal DPI on a Glowforge Pro for example? We can't really set the head/bed height. This is automated. But I would like to know what DPI to enter into my images in Imag-R online when converting images.

Power and speed are very depending for different laser power. In my Ortur, i set power 75% and speed 5000.
I am not satisfied with the deepness of engraving but, DPI test is good.
It would be much better with lower speed but that would increase work time several times, and, i dont have a time.
