Chamwanda you deserve award for showcasing the beauty of our country. Other journalists just spread negativity just like western media. I'm surprised to see how beautiful turkana is. God bless Kenya 🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪
Imagine taking a train from mombasa to Turkana...the Beauty.Kenya is a beautiful country but greedy leaders never want to see their employers do well ; the citizens
Stop blaming the leaders, they only do what we allow them to get away with. Kenya is simply corrupt and that's a blanket claim. As for leadership, we have none, only politicians
Good work Chamwada for showing the good sites of our beloved country not like other getheri media only concentrating on kenya' s negative .God bless you .
I got my primery and secondary education in Turkana at Katilu Primery and Katilu Boys Secondary School. Turkana may be dry but it has its own unique beauty. The Turkana culture, for example. These people are so kind such that when I was on my 2nd year at Katilu Boys, I decided to join the Christion Union Club that went above and beyond performing services in the Katilu village. It was between 1994-1999. We were the millenial class. It didn't mean much as the town was far away and only can only visit with a permission slip from the headmaster or his deputy. I loved that system. Why? Because I was a refugee from South Sudan and had to money to spend in town. I spent my times reading books, including the Bible which I read 4 times in one year. At the end of that year, I got drunk by the Holly Spirit and decided I would be a priest or a preacher. Did that spirit hold? Heck no. It was just a childhood dream and it eventually faded away..
Because you are alive, God can restore you and bring your dream to pass Imparting this generation powerfully with the gospel of Jesus Christ. God loves you
Never estimate God, ask Moses at the age of 80...your time spent reading the bible 4 times in one year is well banked and you never know when God will start using that deposit... just pray and HE is faithful. ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER FOR GOOD... you know the rest. God love you.
Wonderful content you have. I can't wait to return to Kenya I will make Turkana one of my stops. I'm African 'American' and female btw so no one assumes I'm an mzungu male. 😇
Quite amazing, Team Chamwada. Hard to know about these unless we explore the corners of our country.... had no idea we have such a unique beauty and island at Lake Turkana.
Also, Turkana was the people that welcomed the "Lost Boys of Sudan". We trekked hundreds of miles from Ethiopia to Kennya. They opened their hearts and gave us what is now known as Kakuma Refugee Camp. I and many of fellow lost boys were the first South Sudanese to set out feet in Kakuma. With the help of UNHCR, WFP, JRS, etc, my people settled and opportunities arose and here I'm in Canada. JRS made everything that is me possible. I try to pay it forward but life is not as easy as it seems, especially when you are black and ugly-looking. However, there is always a silver lining to all this. What? Most Canadians are nice and kind. I do fit in here in my #Newfoundland. That is Canada, eh?
Thanks Chamwada for this documentary of Lake Turkana this is what we don't see in our main channels look at how Kenya is beautiful look at Turkana county

I agree with u completely. Trukana people n kenyans in general do not need the images of a white jesus. We need to free ourselves from mental colonization so kenya can move forward. White jesus has not anything so far.

Very pro presentation.
If Governor Nanok wanted this place to boom, he'd invest in roads, water and security. Local tourism would make this place an African must-see.
Does a governor really have the money to do all those ?
