Awesome comparison! Thanks for the shoutout! I appreciate it! I agree 100%. Both are great Bibles and are worth their money. If I was going to write in one it would be the CBP. It's also easier to toss around and spit-while-preaching without having to worry so much about it. But there are those times when nothing but the Cambridge will do. I especially love reading from it, and when preaching while being extra careful.
Bible Buying Guide Thanks brother! Yeah I sure do enjoy them both, but I’m so much more careful with the Cambridge. Guess I need to still break it in more lol. Nice job on this video! I bought one of the early printing of the CBP Turquoise and my review is on Randy's Bible Buying Guide website. Mine does not have a left and right margin as large as yours so must be the hand size. My lamp next to where I read has a shade and thus is a more diffuse light and the somewhat reflective paper of the CBP is a non issue. The CPB paper is thick and good for work horse Bible use. Hard to justify spending the $ to get a Cambridge when my CBP is already luxuriously easy for me to read. That said will probably get one anyway due to its easier carry. And really just to reward Cambridge for making it available to the Body of Christ. They took great care to bring us a beautiful edition and I want to support them for that. As we buy these Bibles it helps keep them in print and in circulation which is good. From what I can tell the CBP Turquoise you have is a better study Bible than the Cambridge but the Cambridge is better for carry. That extra margin in the CBP makes all the difference for comfortably adding verse references and word definitions.
snowpuppy77 Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment. The earlier printings of the CBP Turquoise Midsize did have smaller margins at first. The ones they print now has the larger. It is my workhorse. The Cambridge one is very nice - all the material and craftsmanship is premium and you can feel it and notice when you hold and read it. Also, like you said, it’s more portable. With that said, the CBP is one amazing quality made Bible!
Thanks for the review. I just purchased the CBP Black Liquorice Water Buffalo Turquoise Bible. The Black Liquorice Water Buffalo Cover is really thick and it has a pebbly grain and it's calfskined leather lined. I already have the CBP Black Liquorice Water Buffalo Thompson Chain Reference Bible and the CBP Black Liquorice Water Buffalo Note Takers Bible.
You will really enjoy that Turquoise!

CBP shipping to Canada is $50 USD, certainly makes the Cambridge much more affordable from Amazon.

Which one has a higher readability - Cambridge Turquoise or CBP Turquoise,?
All CBP bibles are art gilded but they use a brownish, gold, tone under their gold gilding which is probably why their gold gilding is so dramatic. They have a video showing the entire bible making process, pretty cool stuff imo.

I just got a turquoise from CBP in lambskin from their bindery special list for $60 because it has a tiny little nick on the spine. My first turquoise and I can see why people say it’s their favorite text, it has become mine too overnight. The top grain cowhide is the same price as all other covers except the water buffalo which is $125 and $150 for a full yap! Nice!
I don’t have a Cambridge but I’m thinking seriously about getting the brown goatskin but I might just get a full yap from CBP which will still be $55 cheaper! I do want a true premium bible though with premium paper and art gilding and just top notch quality all over. Or maybe a 43 Longprimer? Decisions? Too many great options to choose just one!
