Hello, the outer layer (dacron i think) of one of the bridles of my inflatable kite has broken due to the pulley friction. The inner spectrum line is perfectly well. How can I fix the outer part together so It takes heavy duty until I recieve my new set of bridles? It stands kite tension but the inner line is now exposed to possible friction of the pulley. I would like it to be ok for 2-3 high wind sessions.

The knot that you use at the end of one of these bridle repairs - is it a figure 8? simple overhand?
