    I just knew when I searched that you would have the recipe that I wanted. I love how honest you are with us at the end of your cooking. Which helps us to know what to do when we make ours. You’re real, honest and a Home cook that I’m looking for👍🏼👏🏼♥️

    Lisa, it looks absolutely divine 👍🤤😀
    The Smart Lid thermometer really does a great job. I don't mind a thicker slice of rare roast beef, so I'd be happy to take that one. Another great demo and recipe from the Smart Lid.
    The other day I made a garlic and herb slow cook lamb shanks. I thought I'd jazz up the flavours by adding a cup of Stout and a tbs of Molasses. It was wonderful. Dark, rich, sweet and savoury. Gave a neighbour a serve and she said it was so good she woofed it down.
    Thanks for providing your time for us viewers.
    Cheers 😀

      Oh I love lamb-wish I was that neighbor! next time I'm in town think I'll pick up some shanks. I'm working on Indian reservation and the local market has a lot of mutton-I have to pick some up and see what I can come up with. thank John!

      No the internet is just awful here on the Rez-I have starlink but have to order a piece to install it and deliveries are well hard here. I picked this up at Sprouts and it was on sale and reasonably priced. I admit I try to purchase everything on sale and plan my recipes or put in freezer and use it another time. Thanks Celle!

    Rump roast probably not best for steam & crisp. This is tough roast--best for slow cook or pressure cook than finish off air fry. Then, slice real thin--good for italian beef. Any thicker and you'd break your teeth. Better economical cut would be sirloin tip for steam & crisp. Like the plated look. The rub looks good.

Not the same thing but I do get to see the lovely landscape and towns. Looks beautiful but harsh at the same time-If I were ti hike there I would be respectful of Mother Nature and the environment. thanks -I do believe it is your steam air fry. I'll have to fly over and check those Scottish foodies out. :)

    Hi Lisa Pretty sure I heard you’re using a rump roast. Going to give this a try. Yum. Looks delish. I’ve heard that ninjas probes aren’t very accurate and all of my ninjas have probes and it’s hit and miss so I’m going to do my beef proteins at rare because your rare looks like a perfect medium rare which I love. Thanks for another fun video. 😁

    • @pressurecrisp
      @pressurecrisp  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah think its best to use your own thermometer -please remember that this meat is a bit tough unless sliced super thin. and I would stick with a smaller roast due to veggies turning a bit charred. Next time I'm in flag I will try to pick up a 2-3 pound roast just to see if it makes a difference. Thanks Suzie!

    • @rossishima
      @rossishima 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I find the probe to be accurate. When I set the doneness, the results are pretty close. Even double checking with thermapen, it is within few degrees. If your is not accurate, get it replaced under warranty.

    • @glamdolly30
      @glamdolly30 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@rossishima Agreed, my Ninja probe gives accurate temperatures. Unfortunately the pressure cook function won't work on my new machine (everything else does!) so back it will have to go for a replacement machine. I wouldn't be without a Ninja now, still getting to know it, but so far the results have been amazingly good and fast - while saving electricity.

    • @AECH_CH
      @AECH_CH ปีที่แล้ว

      I mean when the roast is so thick, like this one, it's "rare" in the middle/where the probe or termometer sits. The outside up to the termometer however will be a gradient to rare, so from "well done" to rare, gradually decreasing. There's no way to get such a big cut of meat to a perfect medium, unless you sous vide it, which the Ninja can also do lol.
