Most steroes aftermarket like kenwood and others use wires for best quality and satisfaction i would recommend wired I always use kenwood steroes but for my frs 2013 this would be a really great better feature 9 inch screen

Is that bezel around the head unit removable? I don't think this would work on the 2018 toyota 86 as its a 1 piece design and not two like earlier brz/86/frs

There is a "BRACKET" which hold the after market unit (meaning can plug and play into most frs/brz/86 models. Then your screen/radio and ect unit can be inserted. So the screen and the backing are two different parts made for one unit. Screen>backing plate>radio/external connections unit. And then should be wires and battery then car if you really wanted the whole process.
I have a '14 brz, and the front speakers stopped working as soon as I installed this. Is there any way you could give a breakdown on exactly which wires you had to repin in order to get those speakers to work?

Yes a android device should be able to use "aftermarket" odbii to show everything via Bluetooth and electronic sent data using a form of Bluetooth Now you still need a odbii plug with Bluetooth compatiblities and/or a plug/play odbii connection from your fuse box to your radio... Best bet is the first one

Please make a camera installing for (idoing and others for a 2013-2015 non stock backup camera installion Please note no where in any documents did I receive a 2015 need more to fully install a "pre" package "if you include ect you need to offer ect with initial purchase. 2015 scion fr-s is not NOT compatible . This problem of not offering everything to co.plete a build is what has relented me on buying any headset from the review of old Mr John. And as far as I doing compares Your better off disregarded anything said about android head units. If you still want one I'd still not suggest idoing for their poor installions process . GPS, radio, Bluetooth audio, Apple wireless caraway works.... NO android phone can use this device to connect to your phone wirelessly... ( he'll the wire even takes 20-30 seconds to boot into view after extensive modifying and fixing of poop code)

Save yourself the hassle and trouble and stay away from chinese companies like idoing. If you are lucky you get a complete and working product. But if you have a problem, then you are stuck with a customer support that seems incompetent/fraudulent. I suspect that google translate or something similar is a big part of that problem. So if you have a problem just remember that they do not understand your language and describe the problem as if you are writing to a child. Pictures work best. Sadly in my case the connector for the rear cam was missing on delivery. In the end it took like 3 weeks for them to finally stop ignoring my requests for a replacement. And they really lit my fuse when they told me to buy a 35USD CAN-Bus adapter from them in order to fix their own scew-up. (and that even though my car does not even have CAN connection to the headunit) Comment edited because the original was written "in the heat of the moment". So i channged it to something more constructive.
$35 is the cost of CANBUS equipment, and we do not charge shipping fees for after-sales service. Our customer base comes from all over the world, and due to the time difference, we will contact and handle it within 12 hours on weekdays at most
