This machine really makes a nice approach and landing!!! Such a short rollout on the landings and the take-offs.... Very nice!!!! It also appears to have very good stability... The tractor prop appears to be very good for enhancing stability, as well as an empenage... Are there 2- seat versions of this aircraft?
I would really like to know if this gyro went into production or can plans be obtained ? No worries about anything coming lose and hitting the prop in this configuration.
It had a short production run from what I understand before the company shut down. I have only ever seen two for sale, one was incomplete & the other was complete, Subaru powered & in northern AB Canada. I drove 3k miles in mid winter with an open trailer to bring it back to the US. It is next in line for my attention.
@@jameschristiansson3137 Yep, heaps! Built new locking tail wheel, tilting seat assembly for baggage access, new dash, gauges & all wiring, new fuel tank with Aero injector, new cooling system, 22" bush tires etc. Taxi tested but won't fly till spring now, got race car stuff to do & winter is in the Rockies. A friend near Boise recently bought the one I was trying to find for 2 years. He plans to pull the Subaru & put a Verner radial on it. It was for sale on Barnstormers for 10k.
No tractor gyro seems ever to have become popular. My guess would be poor yaw control at low throttle settings, and I suspect crosswind landings might be difficult. The gyro in the video appears to be taking off and landing straight into a stiff breeze, which shows it at its best, and is least problematical. Most of us gyro heads prefer the view from a pusher, and yaw control at any throttle is good. Mine's a Bensen.
100% my favourite design!
now this is what I call a Gyrocopter best one I have seen very impressive
I hope so...After I graduate I really want to get one. I just love the classic tractor design...

No idea Why this wasn't wildy popular....
Looks soooo good .. we all want one , do we not ??
allways wanted a pitbull gyro
Wat a great little aircraft!!!!
Beautiful! Is the rudder effective at slow (or no) forward motion? How does one execute pedal turns in a (near) hover?
gbuxman the rudder would be effective because of the prop wash.
What's the kit price?
I'm from Brazil.
Seems to have a much shorter and slower take off to the normal pusher configuration
wow, those look really safe,i want one :),i like the one with the full fuselage and doors 2 seater side by side
