@@BritannicaRestorationsthen I don’t think it would be contact cement. A real life or maybe it is with a really light tack I used 3M 90 on my wife’s disco headliner. With the heat and the humidity down here you have to use a super strong adhesive. I’ve never used DAP Weldwood but I would guess it’s very similar to 3M 90.
Once you use Weldwood, you will not use anything else - problem is - banned for sale in Canada! If we cross the border we can buy it, but a pain in the arse

Err No! We used this on a headliner and was OK until summer! It peels off with heat
