Very timely video Mike, I've got to change the seat pad on my Defender's drivers seat soon...I just know it'll be as simple as every other job on the blessed thing...😂
We used to stick the foam to the metal base first, but found it was better to put the cover on the foam THEN the base - and stick the cover just to the rectangular centre pad, not the whole seat!
@@BritannicaRestorations ...cheers Mike, I'll bear that in mind...you'll see how mine goes in a few weeks' time....another expletive filled video will be up by then, I'm sure!

To me, to you, to me, to you etc nice work and happy new year!
Happy new year!
Looking very good!
Thank you! Cheers!
Jim and Mike Seat Base trimmers Ltd. Nice job but you'll both be pleased when they're finished.
Too many overlapping jobs - flipping from one to another - sick of it
Shop is full and you cannot move
Still, the 90 is done (I hope)
Dream team! 😅
Good vid. Mike, What's the part number for the covers and the fitting kit and where did you get them?
They are all used parts - seems Exmoor Trim is the only place in town as far as I know - Britpart do kits but not the mid-row seats
@@BritannicaRestorations OK. but do you have the #number off the little blue bag, ta.
You'll be hitting the bottle by the end of these seats
