Now now Scot…There is no evidence to suggest that Kid Rock has ever stated a desire to kill every Democrat he meets. While he has expressed conservative views and made controversial statements, including a JOKE about wanting to "body slam some Democrats" during his speech at the 2018 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony, this comment was made in a humorous context and does not indicate a genuine intent to harm anyone. I have my issues with the Democratic party but I'm not going to vote for the other party that is worse in every way. More corrupt. More beholden to corporate interests. Doesn't represent working class folks like me in the least! Ignorance is a huge problem in the United States which is why so many got duped by Trump. This is a total Marmite topic if you get my meaning. Peter Hammill is my favourite singer... of all. I rest my case.
Maybe because he's SO extreme. An musical instrument all in itself.
I get it though how some people despise his voice , not exactly in the same stratosphere as Barbra Streisand etc , some people just cannot get into Van Der Graaf Generator because of this unsurmountable hurdle.
    Interesting video Scot !! 😍🎵🎵🤘

DUDE! Stevie Nicks, REALLY! She is the YIN vs Christeen being the YANG, man! This one Floors me.. Though I Do like the "Song Bird" MORE, may she RIP!
Stevie is Reviered by the Masses! Heck Fleetwood Mac Exploded when she and Lindsey joined! There IS a reason for that. Without them, the Mac probably would have bit the dust a long time ago, as they were good, they were just kind of "meh"!
Though I can agree with all of this review, Dolly was perfect for her time and what she was doing.. An aquired taste.
Now my 2 Cents on singers.. AC/DC.. I can not Stand AC/DC for the most part, Because of Scott OR Brian! They are perfect for what the band was shooting for. The band is instantly identifiable however!
For the rest, I am going for the "Aquired Taste" thing.. It DOES NOT mean that I hate their music.
    First..
Led Zeppelin is my FAVORITE band of All time! But Robert Plant, is not the best vocalist really. But he Always fits in quite well with what is involved with!
RUSH is my 2nd FAVORITE band of all time! Geddy Lee IS an AQUIRED Taste! You either Love him or Hate him, especially his early stuff. I have met So many people who do not like RUSH, just because of Geddy, which is sad on their part. I could say the same about John Anderson of YES!
Tom Petty. He is an aquired Taste! He is Perfect for the sound of his Music. I do Like some of his stuff. You either love his voice or not.
Les Claypool of PRIMUS & Others.. An aquired taste again. He is in weird bands, because he IS Weird!
    Last for me here is..
Mike Patton of Mr. Bungle & FNM. A Very tallented Singer!, Especially for Bungle, who can play ANY GENRE of Music Period! You name it they CAN do it with perfection! Again a very excentric singer..
OK.. One MORE Voice who I can NOT stand, because he is a Revolting & (Now Rotting man, Hehe, regards to the worms!) GG Allen! And I really do not have to say much about this assclown. And YES, the world is much better off without him, IMHO!

@@randytaylor220I am from Neil Young’s hometown. I now live in Alberta 🇨🇦 and worked for years in the oil patch (pipelines). I am right leaning (Conservative Party here in Canada). There is a huge oil industry out here. The oil sands are some of the largest in situ oil deposits in the world. Young shits on that every chance he gets, despite making his living jet setting around the world and putting out millions of oil based vinyl albums, cassettes and CD’s over the decades. He’s responsible for a larger carbon footprint than any of us could ever imagine. So massive hypocrite. And he’s just one of several. But I love his music.
I am retired and in my 60s and have been collecting and listening to music from various artists for decades. Given that many of them are left leaning (same goes for Hollywood and movies - although that is another topic and getting much worse), I’d have to give up listening to a lot of the music I love if I boycotted strictly on politics. You have to separate it - or you go nuts.

Mark Knopfler: Dire Straits/solo(sometimes on his solo works, he gets out of his range)

I get that it was what was "cool" then but the swagger/bravado and the crooning style just doesn't do it for me. And also, Billy Corgan, just so nasally, only song it works on IMO is Bullet With Butterfly Wings, and that's a song only he could get to work. And I don't actually know what Scott Stapp's voice sounds like off the top of my head but even if his singing isn't that bad, I'd still say it's hard to argue the other guys didn't find a better singer when they formed Alter Bridge.

According to people around her in her heyday she would also give coke to her dog, an expensive show poodle, and laugh her ass off watching it run around and bang into walls. This can be read in a few different Mac biographies. What a class act! Decades of crappy singing and animal cruelty! Don't get the appeal.
