- Surgery is a timeless and ever evolving art. New technology offers advancements that surgeons used to only dream about.
People often ask why I wear two watches. I do this in part to show my appreciation for the timeless classics and also as an appreciation for new technology.
The basics and fundamentals that have shaped my foundation and helped to get me to where I am today. The evolving technologies that expose new opportunities to me and others who dare.
There is a beauty in the classic art of surgery just as there is a hope and imagination in its advancement. The two watches on my wrists humbly remind me of where I started and help me look to where I am going.

I love mechanical watches. But after being hooked on an Apple Watch for health reasons, I was struggling to figure out how to deal with my love of both worlds. Wearing two watches at once seems odd, but I guess it's the only solution. Thank you for your video, and I really like your Daytona. Cheers!

I think a smartwatch is an extension of your phone and for many it’s a way to motivate physical activity. Also, smartwatch is a reminder how much we have accomplished technologically. But like every other piece of technology, it is soulless there is no real connection. On the other hand, A mechanical watch is a way to still appreciate craftsmanship, tell a story, have different watches for different occasions most importantly you can passed it on to the next generation.
I also wear my Apple Watch and my mechanical watch..I feel good about that and also my hands are balanced 😀
Good for you! I was recently turned off by a TH-cam watch “snob” or “expert” who called people “tools” for wearing two watches. I myself don’t wear two watches, but I respect other people’s choices. You do you as they say.👍🏻
Doc, I appreciate your video. I was looking for videos about people wearing two watches at the same time. Am glad I came across your video. I’m athletic and I’m a Marine. I wear a Garmin Fenix (rechargeable) on my left. It’s the mainstay because I want to keep track of my steps, heart rate, etc.). On my right I wear a solar G-Shock Mudmaster. It is huge and looks tactical. It is shock resistant so I can take it anywhere. During formal occasions I wear a thin automatic classic Longines with black leather strap. I move the Garmin to my right. I have other watches but don’t get to use them.
I can’t move away from my apple watch, been wearing one since 2015, so I guess now I’ll wear my CasiOak on my other wrist 👍👍
I wear two watches for precisely the same reasons!
I wear an Apple Watch on my right wrist and another watch on my left wrist. Sometimes it’s analog and sometimes it’s a G-Shock. Crazy part is this weekend. I did that and had a pocket watch in my pocket. I guess that makes me a weirdo, especially since I don’t collect watches.

I wear a Fitbit luxe for stealth on my right hand. And a mechanical on my left.

I have two guesses as to why Giuliani wears two watches.
1. One of them was set to "AM", and the other was set to "PM".
2. One of them was set to standard time, and the other was set to daylight savings time.
He wears two watches maybe he wants a second opinion.
Currently loving wearing 42mm mechanical watch on left wrist, 44mm Galaxy watch 4 on right wrist..due to health reason.
