A4 Skyhawk - we bolted on an exaust pipe extention to reduce the thermal signiture and act as a sacrificial part if hit by heat seeking air to air missiles. This simple improvisation saved many pilots.
F-4E Kurnass - IAI developed an upgrade to the Kurnass-2000, the most capable Phantom to fly. We had over 2 operational squadrons.
F-15C/D Baz - Modified and upgraded beyond recognition.
Kfir was effectivly a beefed up Mirrage with a J-79 bolted on
      F-16i - Viper on sterroids
      F-15i - Can't really comment

Young man everyone knows that the f-35 is nowhere near the capabilities of the F-22 and I am aware that Israel has placed their own upgrades on the f-35 it still doesn't touch the F-22 that's why the United States will not give it to any of their allies including their absolute closest Ally which is Israel

Israel has a long history of being the first country to get kills in American equipment. This was true with the F-15, whose first kill was not a missile kill but a gun kill. Israelis like their guns. It is widely believed that the first air vector of an f-35 was an f-35i taking down Houthi cruise missiles and drones. The F-35I is lightly currently operating over Lebanon and possibly Southern Syria taking on Hezbollah in an environment where they have to deal with Syria and tracking by Russia. Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps commanders have been killed in their apartments in Syria and Lebanon with no substantial damage or casualties in adjoining apartments. That suggests a short-range weapon with a small warhead, as a long-range weapon would be carrying fuel and set fire to the apartment. Israel might be using a selfie drone, but I think it's more likely that it's been dropping some weapon often F-35i. Likewise, Israel has been taking out Hezbollah missile launchers in Lebanon, often before they can fire. It helps to have a system like this overhead. And finally, Israel has been taking out Iranian and Hezbollah drones and missiles in the north.

@@ARSAMES007 majority of those F16s went to Israel and the rest were sold to Pakistan. Also, the Shah himself chose the F14 over F15 after observing the Iranian pilots' trials in the US and calling it a better fighter for Iran's needs so I don't believe this notion that Iran had intentions to purchase the F15. They had some plans to purchase the F18 to replace the F-4 Phantoms but that deal also fell through after the revolution. I don't have evidence that Iran cancelled the deal for the fighter jets. They needed them in order to fend off Iraq. What I have as evidence of the arms deals being cancelled from the US side is the last of the 80 F14s ordered by Iran being held by the US from being shipped when the revolution happened.

The God of bible knows how his creations work, but allah says a lot of stupid things in the koran. For example, allah says the sky is blue because of blue mountains in heaven. Advanced sensors, data processing and networking, as well has EWF suites are central to modern fighters. i dont know if this was mentioned or not,... but, israel has a very long history of improving American tech. in fact the F16 was a terible fighter plane until israel develped the "Lavi" in 84 and america got spooked to the point of threatening embargo's and pulling out of all finantial support to israel. they didnt even allow israel to build it as pure israeli fighter (not to be exported) .. so ofcourse israel stopped the develpment and scrapped the jet but only after the US agreed to supply israel with lots of f16's and allow israel to rebuild the plane as they see fit.
thats how the f16i Barak and Sufa were created and ofcourse most of the improvments were exported to the US that helped the F16 to become a success internationaly after that.

Everything mentioned in this video is a standard feature of the F-35A Block 2 and later in USAF service.
The electronic warfare systems in the F-35I are custom for Israel... but the US and NATO version have similar electronic warfare capabilities. While Israel is very well regarded in EW systems, it is important to note that the F-35I's capabilities are not technically superior ... at least not in a general sense. Instead they are CUSTOMIZED to Israeli needs.
In fact with the arrival of the Block 4 F-35A, the USAF version is technically superior overall to the F-35I - but still not customized to Israeli needs.
A really cool thing about the F-35 is that it can accept "drivers" for new weapons. So, any weapon integrated by any F-35 user is available to any F-35.
So, if a USAF F-35 lands in Germany, and needs to rearm from German munitions stores ... it can download the "driver" and be able to fire ASRAAM and Meteor. Israel has its own missiles and its own F-35 drivers, which they keep closely guarded - but a USAF F-35 could just download the drivers and use Israeli weapons.
A lot of the changes are for example chaff and flare dispensers - Israel wants to use their own systems. They use a lot more of that stuff (for reasons), and they want to be able to rapidly control their own supply.
They have also made some user interface tweaks to improve F-35's capability as a CAS fighter. (Remember they don't have A-10!)
Israel keeps most of its changes to the F-35 secret - but its a ton of little things that fit their special situation, not big game changing capabilities.
Soooo ... if I am flying to war with Russia or China, I prefer a USAF F-35A to get the mission done and get me home.
If we have another low-medium intensity conflict against ISIS or the Taliban ... I want F-35I to help me support the troops.

The IAF would know how to adapt. Don’t forget Israel is in the top 10 weapons exporter around the world for a reason. On top of that there is no nation around the world that has a missile defense system as combat proven abused and tested as the Israelis. And Chinese air to air missiles are based on Israeli python. at the end of the day I would want Israeli combat proven fighters with decades of endless combat experience against the best Russia has to offer.
