This an Art Challenge where I draw a character every day for 30 days.

This is a digital art challenge made with Procreate I wanted to do in order to get better at drawing characters out of my comfort zone. This doesn't mean you learn to draw in 30 days from scratch. It's not exactly a 30 days transformation challenge, but it's more an endurance challenge which hopefully means improvement. How much do you folks think I improved in this art challenge?
This drawing challenge is all made in Procreate, on the iPad Pro.
I drew for 30 days to see how much I would improve, I think I went pretty far.
I really liked drawing every day for a month, it became a new routine.

You are INSANELY good!! How did you learn characters initially, did you start out copying a lot of different existing cartoon characters until you could do your own? What was the learning path you followed? What exercises did you do?

Well, I started doing a lot of gesture pose studies and copying anatomy from photos! that's what helped me mostly, the stylization comes after that 😊

It has been really hard! And a bit stressful! If you're in a hurry you can't think of a perfect idea and you just settle with the ones you have pretty quickly. It's hasn't been easy at all!

Thank you! I pretty much used the round brush for the whole challenge! The only little thing I edited in the brush settings is the pressure sensitivity of the tip ☺️

@@Ariabba thanks so much! I just bought hp pavillion 14, I had to get it fixed which will take 2-3 weeks just because the left trackpad had a dip and was uneven unlike the right side. I'm getting the tilt pen in a few days but I can't use it without the laptop rip lol but in the mean time I will do traditional art isntead
Which app is it? I draw in photoshop actually. I want to record my arts by locking the potrait.

As a general rule I can get good inks out but it takes hours, and shading is something that I still dont fully understand... you just seem to pick it all out of the air. Wish I could do this.

I personally don't think there is a specific name for it.. it's probably just stylized instead of realistic? I'm not entirely sure, I'm sorry!
