I discovered this channel earlier this year and love it. I'm into diecast and collect Hot Wheels, Matchbox and other diecast. My wife saw me yelling "GO GO GO!" at my computer and asked what I was watching. I showed her and she watched some with me and she admitted that it was pretty exciting to watch. The commentary hands down makes it more entertaining for sure. Keep up the great work.

Crash Racers are making an Oval NASCAR set and I think that’s the answer to the Straight/curves set, it’s gonna be like 4 straights and the regular 180 Degree turns. They debuted it in NY Toy Fair last year along with the Figure Eight

I was a child in the early 70s, a little girl who loved Hot Wheels, as much as her dolls! I had the Fat Track, along with many other Hot Wheels sets and accessories. The Fat Track was fun, but I remember having trouble with the connectors, especially when it came to the turns. Wish the idea of the popsicle sticks had come to me and my dad back in the day! Anyway, I am now in my 50s, and find that your racing videos have renewed my love for die-cast cars and racing. I watch them just for fun! I will be sharing these with my young nephew, now that he's reached the age to be into this, too. Your video production values are superb! Thanks for all you do to reawaken the kid in so many of us!

Great work. I agree that your 2020 two-lane track was way more realistic and exciting racing. I look forward to seeing what you come up with next!

I love the channel, but honestly Mate, the curves that a good quarter of the cars spin out on have to go.
I think you should spread your commentating talents to other items as well, as in dubbing over other's videos, clearly you have a talent for it.

I made a base out of corrugated cardboard and hot glue. If you glue 2 sheets of corrugated cardboard with one sheet flipped 90 degrees it's very strong as corrugations are running vertical and horizontal. For my track I cut up some file folder covers. The track is currently in pieces while I paper mache the landscape but if you want to see it in action prior to landscaping I uploaded a couple of 10 sec vids to my personal channel and happy to answer any questions.

Pretty cool video and got small details about your track length. I'm getting one more figure 8 track to make it longer as possible. I'm basically making my own ideas on 6 lane track to 2 lane.
Oh snap!! I didn't see the figure 8 track in the video. I just ordered 3 and getting one more!
Update: I now have 4 of these figure 8 tracks!

I thought I recognized the Sizzler track! 😮
My next door neighbor had a set that we played with.
Got boring quick. One car was always faster, always won.
We weren’t old enough ($) to buy more cars.
Eventually, regular Hot Wheels returned as the “go to” toy cars.
BTW, Hot Wheels track makes a cool sound as it drips when you burn it. We burned a bunch of it for fun.
I can’t find my old Hot Wheels tracks anymore…
My mom must have thrown it away. 🤔

While I haven't pursued an outlet for creating a TH-cam channel or anything like what you're doing, I do have most of the parts/tracks from the Sizzlers set from the 1970's when I was a child, but the tracks that I really like are from the XV-Racers of the Hot Wheels Sizzlers! I have 4 or 5 NASCAR & DAYTONA 500 sets, 3 Johnny Lightning Sizzlers Racetrack sets and 1 of the Extended Figure 8 Hot Wheels Sizzlers sets. But yeah, the 2 lane tracks from the XV-Racers are my favorite tracks to race my Sizzlers on! Also, I don't collect the die cast cars like I used to, although I have a couple hundred left, I need 5 more cars to finish collecting ALL 22 of the Original Hot Wheels Sizzlers Cars from the 1970's! As a child, I never had more than 7 or 8 cars. I still have a few that don't work from when I was 10 years old, but I saw a video on how to restore them, so I will do that this year! Thank you for sharing your passion of die cast racing and the information on your system! It gave me some ideas on how I want to do with my Diorama this Summer when I charge up my Sizzlers!!! ✌️

got algorithmed here but I gotta say I highly respect the fact that despite being a part maker for the hobby you shouted out someone who technically would be competition for you. 10/10 man. Little bit of an update, watched a few more of your videos and the quality is so good I have hit the subscribe button. Your scenery is very well done man esspecially the rally track that looked awesome.

If you get M8 bolt slightly larger than your corrugated plastic track and fit a row of bearings to the bolt you can heat the plastic and use the bearings to press down gently and roll along the track. This will inset the plastic between the reinforced grooves giving the DIY track the same grooves as the old wide track.
If you DIY yourself a stand for the bearings (Think sheet metal roller) you can heat the plastic and slide it through the rollers allowing you to speed up the process of creating each track with grooves.

TH-cam is typically pretty boring with its suggestions, but every once in a while, the algorithm gets it right. I just discovered your channel 3 days ago, and I'm hooked. I'm seriously considering starting a similar TH-cam channel thanks to you guys. I absolutely enjoy your content, and the commentary is an absolute, FATALITY!
    Was that necessary, 2d?
