Super Macho Man is really distraught someone actually cared to counter his Super Macho Clothesline Attack (that is what the wiki referrers his super move) that he just shut down his thinking.
I think it's actually an in-game challenge to beat him dodgeless. In other words, it's intended to be possible. Soda and Macho were actually the toughest ones to figure out, even with the headgear.
And if you’re feeling confident enough on Sandman’s 3rd Phase when he roars at you, he starts throwing punch after punch but much quicker and he take a quick stop to catch his breath, he’ll eventually tire himself out then you can keep punching him in the head gaining starts in the process, It’s quite amusing and satisfying to pull off.

This is what I love about Punchout. Everything, and I mean everything, has a pattern. Absolutely nothing in this video is reactionary. There's no chaos to it, if you do something the exact same way every time they'll always do the same moves in the same order. It's a game of skill, RNG only factors in once, and that's getting up from a ko.

Those edited WVBA logo transitions are so smooth in this video. That aside, this challenge is pretty good. Although, it's a tad shame certain opponents are virtually impossible to beat in this challenge.

@Allosaurus 67 Timing a Star Punch when Macho does the first strike of his Super Macho Clothesline Attack has him stop attacking whatsoever. He will still guard your punches and he stays like that for the rest of the round.
@Allosaurus 67 No. Decision wins are still determined normally. Macho needs to be knocked down more times than the player and the player's health needs to be more than Macho's if the knockdown count is the same.
This makes me curious, what if it were possible to ko king hippo with the manhole still on? I know you’d probably need to increase macs damage for it to be possible but I’m still curious

On behalf of the Punch Out community, it would be greatly appreciated if you labelled your TD Macho segment as a TAS, because there is no chance that fight was done in real time, making this video super misleading in that people now think this was completed without tool assistance.
@@haywardbarrows5906 It indicates it's being played on an emulator, where tool assistance is possible, but doesn't necessarily mean it is based on that alone. The reason TD Macho is a TAS is because this fight had something to the effect of 25 consecutive mandatorily frame perfect inputs across all 3 rounds. If a single of the critically important 25 frame perfect inputs are missed, the player has to restart this fight from the beginning. The fact that NU pumps out content consistently every week means they did not go through the painstaking process of actually trying to do TD Macho dodgeless in real time. It is not feasible with the strategy they have showcased here. With the strategy they've presented here, it would take literal years of effort to complete, and only if you only played this fight alone and nothing else (there are more efficient strategies for TD Macho now for real time, but this NU strategy is not even close to that).
3:09 I love getting a star on the last punch before a KD! I am loving these Punch out videos. I just got all the challenges in contender mode I was just missing Great Tiger's cause he's annoying to fight sometimes. I almost have them all in TD too. Just need a couple stars on World S and a few more Champions mode wins.
Soda Popinski is the true Champion of Punch Out since he can literally almost end you. Not to mention he doesn’t have many openings. I always found him the hardest of the World Circuit. You could also argue Super Macho Man is a Champion too and boy oh boy did the Aran Ryan fight had me in the last half, not gonna lie.
Honestly i wouldn't talk s*** about him beating Macho Man and Soda Popinski with a TAS those guys are hard af especially without dodging or blocking but beating Aran Ryan like that it's damn impressive already

Skip the Tutorial's videos on this game were so good, easily some of my favourite content made around Punch-Out.

The reason TD Macho is a TAS is because this fight had something to the effect of 25 consecutive mandatorily frame perfect inputs across all 3 rounds. If a single of the critically important 25 frame perfect inputs are missed, the player has to restart this fight from the beginning. The fact that NU pumps out content consistently every week means they did not go through the painstaking process of actually trying to do TD Macho dodgeless in real time. It is not feasible with the strategy they have showcased here. With the strategy they've presented here, it would take literal years of effort to complete, and only if you only played this fight alone and nothing else (there are more efficient strategies for TD Macho now for real time, but this NU strategy is not even close to that).

I just got all the challenges in contender mode I was just missing Great Tiger's cause he's annoying to fight sometimes. I almost have them all in TD too. Just need a couple stars on World S and a few more Champions mode wins.
Soda Popinski is the true Champion of Punch Out since he can literally almost end you. Not to mention he doesn’t have many openings. I always found him the hardest of the World Circuit. You could also argue Super Macho Man is a Champion too and boy oh boy did the Aran Ryan fight had me in the last half, not gonna lie.
