    I set the 961 at 1750 if I remember right, according to manual

    Wonder if you can maybe try some Teflon tape to see if you can get the Knob to work without leaking.

    Hello.. Good day, just wanna ask, from what engine is that injector? And what would be the best PSI for that kind of type?? Tnx..

      Injectors were the original ones out of a 172ci 4 cylinder diesel. Pop off pressure is 2750 psi.

    I priced new tips verses the whole injector and the cost difference was 30 dollars more for three complete injectors so that's what I ordered!.

    What about pre injection?

    • @chickenhousemechanic
      @chickenhousemechanic  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      As far as I know these injectors do not have any pre injection. Service manual doesn't mention anything either.

    Did you make a adapter and fit it to the injector in order to connect the pressure tester?

    • @chickenhousemechanic
      @chickenhousemechanic  ปีที่แล้ว

      The metal line came with the injector tester. It has another one too.

      @@chickenhousemechanic Thanks for the replay, i hope the pressure test set i ordered fits my ford 3000 injectors as it is.

      @@karlandrefrantzen6709 you're welcome. Going off memory I want to say the tester I bought came with a 14mm and 12mm adaptor. Can't remember the thread pitch though. Kinda coarse, maybe a 1.5mm thread pitch.

      @@chickenhousemechanic Mine comes with 3 adaptors but i would think that the threads on the injectors are in inches so lets see if the kit will fit when yours is metric

    Where did you order your nozzles from?

      I looked through my papers and spreadsheet and I apparently didn't write it down. Most likely I bought them from Just8ns.com. Part number for the 1958-1964 injectors is C5NE9E527A.

    hi you have the knob on the right, whats for? how to use it thanks

    • @chickenhousemechanic
      @chickenhousemechanic  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      From what I understand it is a way to relieve pressure to the injection. Others online have said the tool leaks if you loosen it so I just left mine tight and relieved pressure by cracking the line fitting at the injector.
