dude why in life are these steps not captured in the GODDAMN INSTRUCTION MANUAL. thought my brand-new espresso maker was a total dud -- tried cleaning the grinder a bunch of times, then found this video and like obviously 10 min later i'm good to go. ty for saving my life as i'm in the middle of the woods with mo good coffee sources anywhere and i was literally about to cry.
I hate espresso and the machines that make it. But this guy is awesome and he brought peace to my home with this easy to understand/follow video. So much cheaper than marriage counseling! Thanks Lucas!
You're a life saver! I didn't get any help from the user manual or from customer service from Mueller. Your tip here with the pipe cleaner was just what I needed! Its almost like these companies don't want you to know this so you buy a new machine! Thank you again for helping me fix mine!
This is so useful because the Wirsh looks the exact same as a Cyetus Espresso Machine (the CYK model) and this video will absolutely help me clean this up. I've been struggling with this grinder for the two years I've had this machine. Thank you!
Thank you so much!! I'm a student, and my school has a (very small) cafe that I wok at. Our espresso machine got clogged, and we bought it second-hand so this video was a lifesaver.
Thank you so very much for this! I was able to clear my Sur La Table espresso machine - which is exactly like this machine- by following your instructions. It was the pipe cleaner part that did it! I wish this was in the instructions that came with the machine. I never would have figured this out without your video.
OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH! I spent at least 6 hours trying to fix my grinder and you helped me in 5 minutes! I was going to throw it out!!! You are the best!
Thank you so much! My grinder works great again! I went away for a weekend and my daughter used my espresso machine. I came back and the grinder didn't work. So l was sad, since l just got it a few weeks ago. I took it apart and cleaned it. I used q tips and the provided tools. I also found after following your steps, no coffee bits came out. But when l went up through the bottom, there's another spot on mine that had a lot of coffee stuck. I turned it on, and more came out. Still, l wouldn't have known where that front hole was if not for your video. Thank you so much, l will clean it out regularly now. You're awesome!❤❤❤
Great video. Thanks a lot. fixed the problem in 5 minutes. There was a small tiny hard thing, looked like a rock, stacked in the burr grinder. Removed it, cleaned it and canceled the technician. Again thanks a lot.
This was the only video I could find that actually fixed my problem on the machine, thank you! And by the way I have the Costco Sur La Table machine and it is identical to the one you were using.
Super helpful as my husband who has been clening out our espresso grinder for the last 9 months aparently had no clue what he was doing and it was fully impacted and clogged. Would yo happen to have any recomendations for easily available non oily espresso beans?
You completely helped me out here I can't even believe what was going on inside there I knew it was stuck but I couldn't figure it out so you do have a new subscriber here. Was not even thinking about the oils in the beans. A longtime SBX coffee affectionado...now need to change up the beans. Any recommendations to brand. Love the Bold brew.. but font want to be frustrated with this cleaning of the hopper every 2 days!
I'm so happy to be of help!! As for beans, it's going to be trial and error. I've been lucky with the last three dark roasts because they didn't have loads of oil. I can say most dark roasts will be fine. It's just Peets, Starbucks, and a few others (can't remember them) that you need to look out for. 👍😁
I just purchased Peet's coffee and I was very concerned about using oily beans as they are freshly roasted a few days ago but I am using a brand new breville Touch Impress the burr grinder is a Baratza M2 conical burr which are new to the machine and I spent alot of money on this machine. My takeaway is that its ok to use darker oily beans as long as I maintain the grinder clean?? I was worried that it was a hard no because all the videos telling it oily beans damage the burrs.
As far as I know, oil can't harm the burrs. I would think it would actually help as they use oil a lot when cutting metal. All I know is it will clog the grinder, and over time, it can damage it because of it being slightly clogged while using it over a long period of time.
@@AtHomewithLucas Thanks! I have the S22...guess it's time for an upgrade?! (Are you using any particular app? I've heard "Camo" is good but I haven't used it)
Thanks for the tips!! Is it possible to take the bottom grinding section off? Or is it necessary? My grinder stopped working yesterday and i have the same machine so im hoping just the steps you've showed will help either way.
Try taking out all beans (vacuum or turn upside down) then clean and reinsert the hopper without beans then got to super fine and corse then super fine again. After that put it on 9 or 8 and grind. Please keep mw updated oh how it goes.
@@AtHomewithLucas i came here w a cafe bellisimo, really happy it looked so familiar lol. currently trying to figure out how to get these grounds out without a vacuum tho lol
I have a problem... I clean the grinder following the video, it works fine for few seconds and again get clogged. I clean it again and same thing. What could it be ?
😊Perfecto, problema resuelto. Gracias!
Happy to help 😁

Omg so happy I could help out. Keep strong out there. 💯😀
What peoblem you had and how did you solved it? My Sage Barista Pro doesnt grind fine enough. Even though set inner burr grinder on level 2 ;(

I was worried that my hopper was broken! This video was really helpful and it's now fixed. Thank you!

@MadeMenClan how long have you had your machine?
@ i bought it used. 4 months (says the bill that guy gave me, he got it from the store).
@MadeMenClan do you use it a lot (more then 4 times a day)? Was it heavily used when you got it?
Thank you! I been looking for the right video to help me. Up and working again!!
Yay! That's great to hear 💯😁
Thank you so much! This was easy to follow and we were able to fix our grinder in no time. Happy 2024, Lucas ! 🎉

Yes these are the best. Pretty much any Lavazza bean will work perfectly in espresso machines. Lavazza Espresso Barista Gran Crema a.co/d/fvNxrqM
Thank you so much

Amazing explanation, thank you so much. What is the name of the espresso machine?
Happy to help...it's called Wirsh Bean to Espresso
Great video! Do you have one for descaling? Thank you! I just subscribed!
That's actually the next video I'll make on this machine 😁
What kind of camera are you using? It's great.
It's the Samsung S23 Ultra phone. 😁

Hey! I have the same grinder but it is grinding very coarse even at the finest level. Any recommendation?? Thanks

@@AtHomewithLucas no case, I have to use it in -5 🥲
What machine do you have? Wirsh bean to espresso machine?
@@AtHomewithLucaspeabody ce5004, I think it’s the same Grinder.
Great video the grinder button won't work any suggestions?
What machine do you have? What happens when you press the button?
@@AtHomewithLucas sorry just seen this coffee won't come out and it just flashes
Yeah unplug it and remove the water tank then turn it upside down. See if you can dislodge the peace that's clogging it.
does the Breville express have the hole too
Yes I believe so
How if the red knob is broken?
Oh no, it's broken and missed?
thankyou
Happy to help ☺️
Will this work on the café bellísimo?
Yes, it will 💯👍 it's the same body, just different features.
@@AtHomewithLucas i came here w a cafe bellisimo, really happy it looked so familiar lol. currently trying to figure out how to get these grounds out without a vacuum tho lol
You should be able to flip it over and shake them out.
@@AtHomewithLucas i guess the works lol. i didn't think of that.
What you do when you’re top grind doesn’t move?
Can you take it out?
I have a problem... I clean the grinder following the video, it works fine for few seconds and again get clogged. I clean it again and same thing. What could it be ?
Oh no...what beans are you using?
I have the same problem what is the treatment please ?
Make sure you fully cleaned it
This was better that GE cleaning video. It doesn’t mention anything about cleaning the shoot.
Oh that's awesome to hear! 💯🙂
I put cacao thinking I could grind it down and now my grinder is clogged up 😢
Oh no! How's it going? Did you get it unclogged?
I can't get that last piece out 😭 I'm twisting it counter clockwise.
Try going back and forth. Jiggle it a little and it'll come out. Did you vacuum it out?
Is that a calphalon?
No, but the body is the same, so this will work for your grinder as well.
It looks like a Cyetus espresso machine.
Yes, this model of espresso machine is being made by several companies. Breville, Delonghi, Cyetus, and Wirsh.
Get to the point! Too much talk!
Thanks for the feedback. Did you just want me to start the video at the fix?
Thanks so much brother. Straight to the point
