Presenting our next AROCM Showcase: The Alfa Romeo Giulia (Tipo 105)
Alfa Romeo Giulia (Tipo 105) is a compact executive sedan produced by Alfa Romeo from 1962-1978 and is considered to be one of the most successful models produced by the marque. Despite the boxy design, it managed to achieve a drag coefficient of Cd=0.34 which put it on par with many sports car and even supercar from modern time. This is due to the use of wind tunnel during the model's development.
While many engine options were offered with the Giulia, Alfa Romeo have started a trend of placing a powerful engine in a lightweight chassis leading to a performance praised and revered by many during its time. The Giulia is also a technological marvel as it was offered with an aluminium double overhead cam engine and on later model, a 5-speed manual and all around disc brakes were offered as standard on various trims, which is something uncommonly offered at the time, even on a much more luxurious marques than Alfa Romeo.

A common mistake that the side mirror base is installed in reverse limiting the mirror adjustability. Very easily fixed by flipping the base front to back.
