- Presenting our next AROCM Showcase: Alfa Romeo Giulia (Tipo 952)
Alfa Romeo Giulia marks the return of the Giulia nameplate since the original Giulia which was produced during the 60s and the 70s. It is also a significant model in modern history of Alfa Romeo as it is the first mass-market Alfa Romeo to use a RWD platform since the 75/Milano was discontinued in the early 90s.
Seen on Bojio Trackday hosted at Sepang International Circuit, this specific model is the top of the line Giulia Quadrifoglio which is powered by a Ferrari-derived 2.9 twin-turbo V6. From it, a power output of more than 500HP is sent to the rear wheels with the help of 8-speed ZF transmission.
While Alfa Romeo no longer have official distributor and dealership in Malaysia, it didn't stop any passionate Alfisti in Malaysia to get their hands on the latest offerings from Alfa Romeo. And it is also great to know that it wont stop any Alfisti from unleasing the full power of the beast on the track.
Hopefully we can see the return of Alfa Romeo in Malaysia and see the latest models on the roads in the future.

How many Giulia Quadrifoglio are there in Malaysia? Such a beautiful car
no official numbers as all of them are brought in by grey market importers, but it is expected to be in a dozen or more

also have you personally driven in one before on the road of Malaysia?
there are a few Alfa workshops who take jobs on these cars, but if you want certified works, you had to go to the official dealers in Singapore.
and unfortunately I never drove one.
