    Something that works for me at last .As an ADHD sufferer I'm so grateful to find something that helps slow my mind down and at last helps me understand why people meditate.

    Hello all breathers, some feedback: i meditate since aprox 2009, and practice wim hof method since aprox 2015/6, but this exercise, this breathing exercise is my favourite of all techniques. The retention should increase, but it's just an opinion. Congratulations and thank you very much for sharing.

    I absolutely love these videos. Quick question. In wim hoff breathing, he says release the air in the lungs after the 30th breath. These videos recommend to empty the air in your lungs which is obviously different. I’ve noticed it is much more difficult to retain my breath hold when forcefully exhaling instead of releasing, and, my oxygen level also consistently goes to lower levels. Can you explain this difference?

      do what works for you. although, you should never force anything too hard and in general: the less oxygen the better.

    Wow.
    This has taken my breath away. (I mean it). I have saved it, and am going to start my day with this regularly.
    Just for my info, is today's exercise based on Wim or soma's methodology?
    I found that by the time we came to the end of phase 3, I am able to hold the breath for much, much longer than just one and a half minutes.
    Many thanks

    • @TAKEADEEPBREATH
      @TAKEADEEPBREATH  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hi Sean, its based on combination of factors of simply deep breathing and holds which both Wim and Soma do so well, its also worth checking our Troy Casey (The Certified Health Nut) who does a much stronger version of this deep breathing and holds he got from Pranayama. Glad this added value, thanks so much for leaving a comment.

    I'm having a hard time breathing out through the nose as long as I am able to inhale through the nose. It seems I run out of breath and noticed that the breath starts to come out of my mouth even though it is closed? Is this common? Any help would be really appreciated. Thank you in advance

    I find this hard to do. is this common?

    • @TAKEADEEPBREATH
      @TAKEADEEPBREATH  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Very common indeed, its worth practicing some slow nasal breathing exercises to help your body adapt to higher levels of Co2 which is the main impulse to breathe, this might help: th-cam.com/video/Lysn2Zoio8Y/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=TAKEADEEPBREATH

    While your channels are effective,why don't you acknowledge India's pranayama . There 40 - 50 types of breathing which our ancient sages invented. Please acknowledge as everything is inspired from there.
