Great knives are always difficult to obtain. I pretty much gave up on the idea, after I was on a list years ago, and then one week before the guy was to start on mine, he decided to quit making knives for a living. I got my money back; but I waited two years for that thing and got punked. I use Moras and a Lagum and an Anders these days. If a knife happens to pop up that's for sale, I'll buy it; but no more orders or waiting. I like Rob's tribute knife; if I ever see one on Ebay or CraigsList, I'll jump on it, but no more waiting years for a cutting tool. I'm content just getting a few laughs from his videos; great fun!!!

I'm new to your channel but have followed Rob for a long time. He's a great guy and knows his stuff. I've recently received one of his knives, the Bush Tool in 01, brown micarta scales, black liner with but plate. Leather dangler sheath is a beaut too. Looking forward to testing it out but it's a work of art.

I was pretty sure you ll show us a Jacklore 😀 I was wrong like i always be by the lottery numbers 😀 I like it seeing you quite more often these days. Thanks for the great content. I also have one knife in o1 (bhk explorer) based on your recommandation. Its great. Had anotherone in o1 befreundet but lost it (my triplex saber). Still very sad about it, it was one of my faves. The idea was the bhk replacing it. Works very well too but it hasnt the emotional kind of binding i had to the saber. Its weird but i am sure you know about this kind of feeling to some gearpieces. I have a bushtool with an identical sheath and Id love to know how you remove the dangler!? It looks glued together to me.
I have a Bushtool from Rob as well. My dangler is held on with 2 snaps and this Tribute knife with a bolt. I would contact Rob if you have any questions. Thanks for watching👍

So how much difference is there between the skookum and this one - on video they look almost identical except maybe the depth of the grind??
The main difference is the grind ,you're right. The Skookum digs in but the MK wants to ride more on the surface. Skookum hogs out the wood but the MK allows for more control. Both great knives, fun to use. Thanks for the question👊

First I like the dangling sheath. I have similar one for my Mora Garberg. I like this knife but would like it to be an inch longer. It's a nice knife though.
