I started making a lot of money in the mid 90's and from that point on, I never hung out or dated women, again. I waited until I was 40 and walked up to a girl at the hotel I was staying at, she was behind the desk and said "I'm 40, I need to get married and have a kid". She laughed at me, blew me off, I kept at it with her. Finally, at the old school bar in this 1930's hotel on the water, the manager asked me to leave the hotel. So I did. But I kept at it. We've been married for 16yrs now and have a 16yr old daughter. Life is good.

She has no ownership/partnership with the "Seinfeld" show. She doesnt make a dime off all the netflix/hulu/box sets, etc..etc deals. Its all Jerry and Larry the get all the money. Lol bit of an exaggeration but yeah prices have become insane. They were also awful cars at this time, front wheel drive not even big anymore, slow and poorly made. They only recently became nice cars again. Late 70s to basically 2010 I wouldn't have wanted one for free.

If you want a big comfortable car but don't have that kind of $ the 300C with the 6.4 liter at least has it's heart in the right place. The Fleetwood's V8 were embarrassing, I think the top one was 200hp/275 torque with a huge displacement. The emission restrictions put down in (1974 was it?) destroyed cars for a quarter century until they learned how to work with it. It's sad that cars in the 60s had more power than ones made 30 years later. Jay Leno has an episode of his garage with a huge 1960s sedan that had like 350+ HP, and it cost nothing compared to todays cars, even for 1960s incomes. Anyway, I'm very glad I did not have to own a car until 2010 (lived in a city prior to that) 1980s/1990s with those weak cars and 55 mph limit must have been misery. Anything less than 6 seconds to 60 seems lug a total slug to me.

If I recall, he buys his Pops a Sedan Deville. Basically a couch on wheels compared to todays rides. As stated earlier, not everything needs to grip a corner and have rock hard seats with side bolsters.
Also, a 95 Deville was 36k in 95 dollars which is 72k in 2023 Dollars. Pretty comparable to todays pricing.
