I bet the ps5 does somewhat recognize the ps2 and PS3 discs because they’re the only ones that say “this disc is not supported” rather than “this disc is not recognized”. Weird that ps1 discs don’t do anything though. I think if you put a ps1 disc in the PS4 it says “this disc is not supported”
It is backward compatible....with PS4 games. Xbox series x is only fully compatible with Xbox one. It can barely play any original Xbox games (about 50 games work) and it can only play a few hundred 360 games.
you can only play 4k movies on PS4 Pro when it comes to Netflix has long as you have a 4K tv with hrd and that how you can watch movies on 4K i watch movies on Netflix and i can watch some movies on 4K since i have the PS4 pro and a 4K TV and i wish that you could of put the disk in and bring up the information on the Dualsense controller i was just curious if it gonna show a picture of the movie that you are watching and i always did it with my PS4 and it shows the title for the movie what it called and it also shows how long is the trailers and the movie too and i wondering if the PS5 has something like that and i click the triangle button to bring it up and i wanted to see that if the PS5 has something familiar like the PS4 has

at 14 minutes i brought Billy Madison on blu ray since i haven't seen it on VHS tape back in my young days and its a good movie and i wish there was a 4k version of it but i don't think it will never happen but we never know down the road
