The two valves on the back of the cartridge have to be the right length, also if u put it on upside down it will give you hot water when you open valve, and cold fully open
I found the secret to these delta faucets. The seals don’t really leak it’s the tight tolerances when you rotate too far. So when it starts leaking just back it off a hair and it will stop.

I have a delta shower. My right knob turns the whole way like (360 like it’s stripped but it’s not) won’t even cut off the water at all. I have to cut it off by my middle knob. How can I fix this? Done changed the valve, knob, washer and everything?
The question is why does it only seem to last like 3 years? This is our second time replacing this part in the 7 years we've had the shower head. Is that normal?
They should last longer than that. One thing that can help keep it lubricated and not breaking down is to put a little petroleum jelly on the o-ring and seals when installing a new one. That makes it easy to seat properly and will reduce premature wear.

Most valves are unique. Don't forget your plumbers grease. Appreciate you bro
nicely done.. no fluff or unnecessary commentary
You should have mentioned that not all Delta shower faucets use a cartridge. Older ones are repaired using new seals, springs & ball.
Before you started how did you find the correct PN needed? Are all Deltas have universal size?

What if the drips are happening with a brand new setup?

But should this happen after a couple weeks?
What if the faucet is still leaking after you change the cartridge?
I changed my cartridge out and it still leaks any ideas ?
How can I remove a handle knob? There is no screw. Please help!
Pop the center out of the knob. There's a screw behind it.
There is a tiny screw on the side that is keeping it attached. Remove with a screwdriver.
Well done.

So what was the issue with it? Did you change the washers/seals?

The shower head duuuuhhhh
Nice vid but I can’t get my jewel off. Anyone have any suggestions?
you probably have to yank it off or break it off, trying using some WD40 first..Mine was stuck so bad I had to wrench it off..
