- My first night at Kings Creek Station was an eerie one, i could hear the Dingoes howling throughout the night , messing around at my campsite. The next night I setup my trail cam and filmed them, at one point i was sitting on the step of my camper trailer and a dingo came right up to me , less than a few metres away, it was more scared of me and took off. Just remember to keep your campsite spotless.
The following day I trekked up to Kings Canyon and did the 6km Rim walk,
Once you have done all the hard work at the start you will be spending most of the time navigating the canyon rim to various lookout points that provide spectacular views.
The last part of this trip i went to Finke River Campground, the road from Kings Canyon was alot of fun, i was bouncing all over the place.
The Finke 2 Mile campground sits on the Finke River, near the Mt Sonder Lookout in the Tjoritja / West MacDonnell National Park, around 130 kilometres west of Alice Springs.

Love it Babe. You never said if you found the owner of the car???
I saw footprints in the sand, then tyre tracks where the footprints stopped, so hopefully the owner got the help they needed
