    Stunning footage! The colours in this area are amazing. The Salmon gums are beautiful and have remained entrenched in my memory as one of my highlights in WA.

      That’s wonderful to hear. So happy to know that the trees are called Salmon Gums, what a perfect name, considering their tones . Thank you for watching 🤗💫

    Those big wide streets in Kal and all of the old towns around Aus were designed to allow the Camel Trains (bullocks, horses) to turn around. Some of them would have up to eight sets of traces and a couple of wagons hooked up. (old fashioned B doubles)

    This was obviously filmed a month or so ago, hasn't been hot here in Kalgoorlie for a while now.
    ☼ Lucky your car didn't get broken into at Centennial Park.
    ☼ Museum of the Goldfields is awesome.
    ☼ Two up shed is amazing for drone photography at sunrise and sunset.
    ☼ Kookynie is a great spot, Willy the horse at the pub is a bastard and loves to bite people.
    ☼ Niagara Dam is a great spot for a camp, It was set up for the township of Niagara, there's an old settlers graveyard there.
    ☼ Lake Ballard is different every time you visit and the view from on top of the hill is great to enjoy a coldie and watch the sun set.

    I was always told that two up was illegal everywhere, except on Anzac day when you could play it anywhere.

    • @AU_4591
      @AU_4591 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That's true here in N S Don't know about any other states

    • @ArtZoneTravels

      By law, specifically The Gambling (Two-up) Act 1998, the game can only be played on Anzac Day, Remembrance Day (after 12pm) or Victory in the Pacific Day (August 15).
      The only exception in New South Wales is mining town Broken Hill and Western Australian mining town Kalgoorlie is the only other location granted exception in the country.
      Ten minutes out of town, an original two-up school made from corrugated iron still stands and operates on weekends and public holidays
