ABOUT THE BLUE ANGELS:
[Source: www.blueangels.navy.mil ]
The U.S. Navy flight demonstration squadron team consists of 138 world-class, active-duty Sailors and Marines, each one bringing experience and expertise from their service in the fleet. They serve as the representatives of the more than 800,000 active-duty, reserve, and civilian men and women currently serving worldwide in the Navy and Marine Corps.
By design and by their nature, naval forces operate abroad and are seldom seen by our nation’s citizens. The Blue Angels have the unique ability to highlight the importance of naval aviation while honoring its historical significance. They proudly represent the heritage, agility, flexibility, and importance of naval aviation to 21st-century warfighting.

Ive seen them live they really are the best demo team in the world.
Highest respect to you gentlemen. Angels are the superior airmen!
Love the blues
This is so cool!🤩 I have always wondered how the smoke system works.
Glad you liked it!!
Man's got the beak of an eagle, no insult intended, he was born to fly and is amongst the best of the best.
Can't wait to see the Blue Angels at Jones Beach this Memorial day weekend, their last show here was a wave off due to weather. 😢
Yeah but did you see the in-studio "rain show" we did featuring all the performers and practice day replays? th-cam.com/video/-xZhZr1nHxI/w-d-xo.html
Yay!!! CHEWY😊
Beautiful uniform 🥋😊
Awesome 😀. 🤙🏾
Thank you! Cheers!
See ya at Travis AFB next weekend!
Is your forearm numb after flying a show with 40 lbs pressure on the yoke?
Amazing that when you get up close, it looks fairly pedestrian
pedestrian? weird choice of words 😂
I have one question about the blue angels after an airshow can you see the pilot sand the planes?
Ya sure can
I did teach him how to pilot.
What's the purpose of the 40lb spring?
It makes it easier to precisely control the aircraft for maneuvers in which they are just inches apart!
@@LiveAirShowTV Ah got it. Thanks
What amazes me is that they don’t wear G suits when they perform.
They can do that because they're in such good shape, and they know when the G's are coming based on the routine!
I wounder if there combat ready?
They aren't combat ready as the smoke tank is where the gun is. However, I have heard they can be made ready in 72 hours.
@oldlineaviation2830 😆 I wondering since all the MFD's are there and weapon systems. That and the weapon rack mounts.
Check out the walk around we just posted! th-cam.com/video/tMuq9HUfFK8/w-d-xo.html
@@oldlineaviation2830I believe that was true when it was the hornet. Now with the Super Hornets they changed a lot more, essentially making them not feasible to go back to combat.
What is the button on the joystick with the F4 tape wrapped around it. That is not something you would find in a regular any military aircraft.
I'm guessing if it was equipped with weapons....
@@therealist6670 Naa, Looking again closer. Weapons switches are hard panels (similar to the Arm/Smoke panel). He didn't say which plane he was on, but it almost looks like an extra Comm (or Radio) switch that the Narrator would use. That way, it won't get mixed up between the Tower radio and the inter-team radios, which is on the throttles (you only have two choices with that switch)
@@ton7t3z28 -- i misread the question from ton73
I thought they used F/18 A’s
They transitioned to E/F's in 2021.
@@JPMGuitarPicker sweet
He's a Lt Commander, NOT a Lt.
Get to work
🫡
Pretty soon the planes will fly themselves, no need for pilots 😂
Wrong
No taxpayer dollar left unwasted
So what was the purpose of the "spring"?
It allows better control in tight formations. What was your favorite part of the video? Check out the other "In the Office" videos. We have more on the way!
