    Hi Rae, when you show these places could you start by showing a map of Entebbe or Kampala to show us where on the map all these places are for those of us abroad who are not so familiar with them? Maybe also point out key landmarks nearby so we can orient ourselves. Thanks for the brilliant content. You have allowed us to really see and appreciate our beautiful country.

    I was in Ntinda and Kampala 2-3 weeks ago and I can see how vlogging may be difficult with security having an issue. I had to remind myself not to take pictures in front of banks to prevent being stopped by security. Thank you for your help and videos.

    Racheal, thank you so much for sharing. OMG, yasss I love Quality Mall ❤️👏🏾🥁. You can find everything in that supermarket. Lubowa is so lovely. The neighborhood is 🥁🥁🥁. Interestingly a lot of Ugandans are camera shy. They always say, they love their privacy which is understandable. Everything you said was so true about Ugandans not embracing content creation. When I was in Uganda, even taking out my camera was a problem. I love Uganda but everything you said was right. Security is tight and they question everything… I’m grateful that you continue to share content. God bless you 🙏🏿

    This is amazing! Thank you. Would you say Lubowa is the number one neighbourhood for families from the Diaspora?

    • @RaeKembabazi
      @RaeKembabazi  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It is among neighbourhoods with big diaspora community, I think you can raise kids their. Diaspora's tend to like it. But families from diaspora would obviously choose a neighbourhood depending on what specific factors they're looking for which vary per family. So if Lubowa meets your needs, and is within your family budget, then it is for you.

    I asked around and all the Apartments in the Lubowa neighborhood are fully occupied but if you do find one,expect to pay atleast $1000.
    Lubowa is the best designed and well planned community in Uganda.
    However I still think the NSSF Homes/Apartments are way over-priced and the payment plans are not for the regular middle class.

    I'm very tempted to say that that's where most of the foreign aid goes, but it's a lovely area regardless. Me and my wife used to rent in Kabowa (not far from the Freedom City mall) and it's another world compared to this!

    The US school standard is terrible so I would actually want the Uganda standard or UK 😂. Lubowa looks nice. I like the stonework on one of those 🏠 homes. You are correct about the areas with the nice roads. I told my friend in Uganda I would purchase property in Uganda but focused in the area with the better roads.

    Lubowa is a very beautiful place. I just hate that most of the roads have no pavements for pedestrians. Where can someone safely jog from or walk their dog without fear of being knocked down by a vehicle?🤔 This is a big kla problem. Another thing, I wish one day Uganda will move away from fences that kill the beauty of neighborhoods!

    • @RaeKembabazi
      @RaeKembabazi  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, walking a dog or running on moat Kampala roads would be an extreme sport. I wouldn't recommend unless you're familiar with the neighborhood, you would get knocked if there's no pavement.

      Because we were colonised by the British and thats what gives signal to drivers to slow down for pedestrians to cross.....it wierd for foreigners but i guess its used in britain.
