Appreciate you for showcasing my Uganda. Just wanted to point out thou that mashed banana is actually not plantain but rather a different kind of banana. There are several kinds of bananas we eat :-)
Hello I am a Ugandan TH-camr but I live in Jinja City I would love to make collaboration with you if that's okay. You can have more adventures here plus it's peaceful and beautiful because of Mabira forest and River Nile not to mention the bridge and water rafting plus other incredible sites Ninja is a beautiful tourist attraction. Thank you.
I'm a Kenyan but out of the eight countries I have been to, none matches Ugandan food. Explains why they are amongst the most fertile in the world 😅. I stayed there for one month and everyone in Kenya was talking about how healthy I looked. I nolonger visit for tourism, I just need my katogo in the morning, luwombo for lunch, rolex in the evening and matoke with gnut sauce to complete my day then M7 can stay in power if he wants. As long as we are eating well in Uganda, I don't care who is the President 😂.
😂😂😂 u have disappointed my expectations 😮😮😢😅😅 anyways!! Thanks for appreciating the foods and it to make grow healthy 😂😂 that makes you forget who is the president of Uganda😊😊😅
@@NakatuddeCaroline banange but you guys have tried. Me I have waited for change till now I decided not to bother anymore. I just run to you people to come eat all my annual leave days away 😅.
Also, IDI AMIN chose that Old Kampala hill because the colonial Catholic and Protestant Churches (Rubaga and Namirembe cathedral) were atop some of the highest hills around Kampala.
Thanks for visiting the pearl of Africa,am a fan as well seeing you in my own country gives me so much joy ☺️ Asante sana for showing the world our beautiful country
Hey am a Ugandan but living in Qatar guys am to say thank you so much for reminding me that my home country is the best country ever in the world it's a very peaceful place and welcomes everyone ❤❤❤
History The construction of the mosque began in 1972 by Idi Amin and was initially called the Old Kampala National Mosque. Construction halted in 1976 during a period of heighten political instability, and in 1979,after Amin was deposed, it seemed like the mosque's fate had been sealed but in 2001, Gaddafi expressed a willingness to help complete it as a gift to Islamic faith in Uganda.
dear Ugandans, 🇺🇬, i know the people in other countries pressure us on how they are more developed. None of those concrete jungles have the humor, food and serenity like ours. Lots of ❤
big love from China, East Asia. Though I have not been to Uganda, its name has been there for me since I was a student. I believe I will travel to Kampala in the next 2 years. I will go for safari, see Murchison falls, see Lake victoria and see Entebbe... Thanks for sharing this video
I’ve been to Uganda twice. We were there playing Irish music at fundraisers to help the Hands of Hope schools and other schools in the area. We are going back again next year. Amazing place.
@@DaveMani hopefully u tested the kinyebwa ( it’s mashed ground nuts mixed in dry fish ) and Matooke,I visit Kenya many times and I still eat Ugandan food even when I visit Kenya so,do I even here in the United States.
i have watched the entire load trip... believe Me I love seeing people try out new kinds of food. in my language We have a saying which goes like "a kid who has never travelled says that mami is the best cook" I honestly love this couple!! where do WE find more people like them!!
When I saw you table with all that food, and when you asked your guide what his favorite food was, I new the answer was everything. That was the right answer.
WOW, Uganda, kampala city, I was working in that place for several years long time ago.. still so much memories and the familiar scenes, the nakasero market, the mosque , the matoke, and I always enjoyed the Victoria Lake beach, so cozy and relaxing, nice trip guys!
Murchison falls game park, Aruu falls, Sezibwa falls you gotta find time and go there and the list goes on... there's so much to see in Uganda in all regions of the country
Was lucky to have contributed to the stained glass art in many churches, including namugongo, lubsga, and many churches, with brother Joseph (rip) at msabya stained glass studios, in early 80s
Thanks for the video. I never heard of the Ghadafi mosque & of the history of the martyrs there. The city may be chaotic especially with traffic but I’m sure that the people have good hearts. Next time, visit Zambia & have an awesome experience at the mighty Victoria falls, which is also shared with Zimbabwe.
I love that you used the word chaos. because as a person who stays in Kampala, we live and die in chaos. but we've also grown to know and love, and mostly laugh at, this chaos😂❤
Was there myself in May 2024, Going back at Christmas to see my extended family, yes, the chaos is something you have to get used to in KLA, especially the roads and the traffic
I love my Country and would never leave to live anywhere else but I hate the chaos in Kampala. As a kid in the 90's I enjoyed Kampala alot, i would make lone tours just to find out the geographical locations of some of the most important offices in the city like Parliament, Bank of Uganda, etc. but that was long before boda bodas flooded our small city making it hard to cross roads, vendors spread out on our walkways and you can't walk peacefully, every small space has been turned into a shop. I now hate going to the city, i only go there if I have to. I cant send a 15 year old to town alone Guys Uganda needs to build a new beautiful, spacious city.
Thanks guys for loving Uganda coze alot people especially here abroad they are scared of visiting Africa reason being they thing the jungle is wild and dangerous for their life but ur proving the world that jungle is best place of fun thanks God bless you guys we love❤uu

I appreciate that! :)
Correction! The Gadaffi mosque started in the 70s by idi Amin Dada the president but he did not complete. It was Gaddafi who completed the mosque.
Yes, you are right. My mistake!
That is correct
Also, IDI AMIN chose that Old Kampala hill because the colonial Catholic and Protestant Churches (Rubaga and Namirembe cathedral) were atop some of the highest hills around Kampala.
