So the answers to Jobs questions are found in Jesus Christ, but the book of Job was written 100s of or possible more than 1000 years before Christ ? I do not seem to get the logic in that. Do i see it wrong?
Job like many books of the Old Testament would be considered prophetic in nature, foreshadowing or proclaiming the coming of Christ. Books like Isaiah, Jonah, Psalms, and many others contain such verses. These prophetic writings connect the Old and New Testaments and confirm Christ’s deity and his being the messiah. Key verse: Job 1:6 Who was not present before the Lord? Job was not there. It is like going to the judge without your defense counsel. Only the prosecutor (Satan). Book of Job is not so much about righteousness-but the need for prayer. At the end God tells Job to pray for his friends. You don’t see Job praying to God-mostly talking to his friend about God and his situation.

Jealousy is an incurable disease
