Dreamtonics is excited to announce Vocoflex, a real-time voice morphing plugin currently in extensive development and testing phases.
Vocoflex allows the transformation of any singing voice into new, user-customized voices. Users can define the target voice profile either by importing a voice sample as brief as 10 seconds or using a feature that randomly generates voices based on user-specified gender and tone.
Intended for music production and live performance, Vocoflex can transform voices with dynamically changing timbres, while maintaining an adjustable audio latency of as low as 45 milliseconds.

NOTE: Samples are generated through Synthesizer V. It's actually not allowed to mimic Synthesizer V voices using Vocoflex, but for the purpose of this demo, I contacted Dreamtonics beforehand and obtained permission.

If there is anything you would like to see me try with Vocoflex, leave a comment below.
In development. Remind us when it will be available and depending on the price, thank you.
This is really cool, Creating harmonies or a choir is going to be so cool with this
I was testing that out, I'll do a demo in a upcoming video
Pretty sure that the “ glitches” are just the cpu struggling to process in real time. Once you render your output, it should be fine.
Indeed. They did send me an updated beta version that works a lot better. And I'm sure when it's released it'll be even better.
What about using your own original vocals (lyrics and melody written by you) but the vocal performance then being « morphed » into some other singer (famous or not) from whom you’ve imported the file, would that be technically possible and would it be « allowed »?
In other words, if I record myself singing my own lyrics and melody, can I then use a vocal take from Ray Charles for example just to make my vocal recording sound like Ray Charles?
You can't use vocals you are not authorized to use, so no. Technically, you could do it, but you'll probably get sued by someone.
starting from my voice I would like to create a vocal model by mixing it with other voices. obviously the result can only be original and different from the voices used to create the mixture. can I in this case use audio files of famous singers' voices to create the mix?
You can't use vocals that you're not authorized to use.
Fascinating. Yes, please, try it with your own voice, singing, but also talking, in and out of tune, belting and softly. 🙏
Will do, thanks for the comment.
I need this already
Thanks for the comment. Indeed cool software.
Really impressive
Indeed it is; thanks for the comment.
I use waves plugins with their LV1 live system… could I use this vocal plugin on live vocals ?
Lastly what is that vocal reverb you’re using? Really nice 👌
I'm unfamiliar with the waves LV1, but this plug-in is Audio unit VST, so if it works with that, it should. I believe the vocals were all processed through Xvox. th-cam.com/video/MmtP_a4xz4E/w-d-xo.htmlsi=TA81GYcerR8Yd39d
Very interesting. I was thinking this morning that would useful to morph two vocals into one voice.
Thanks for listening
I keep trying to register for the beta, to no avail. Is it just me? Any tips on what they’re looking for in the signup form?
I'm not sure, it was a day or two before they got back to me, I guess just wait and see.
What programs does this plug-in work with? Does it work with audacity and does it work on linux
For Synth V ---Operating System: Windows / macOS / Linux I'm not sure about audacity.
Can you sing to ii,or you need to load files only?
Yes you can sing to it, the plug-in can process vocals live
@@graceai7806 that's realy amazing. Thanx
There is a stand alone version aswell and yes you can sing into it.
Nice
Indeed. Thank You for the commet!
What is the software U use for DAW? Thanks.
The DAW is Logic Pro

The pops are likely a function of latency settings, per usual. The "lower latency" setting in the plugin is probably to compensate for smaller buffers at the expense of accuracy... think of engaging oversampling or "high quality" in the typical plugin. You need more CPU overall for higher quality settings, so a CPU-expensive plugin may cause the DAW to miss a buffer here and there if you're using very small audio buffers. If what I suspect is true wrt. the setting, then it's unfortunate that they flipped the terminology! Anyway... my guess is you'll get the best results (stability and quality) with higher latency settings in the DAW and plugin... which is typical with "mixing stage" anyway.
Thanks for your input. Dreamtonics sent me an updated beta version to help with that issue. I haven't tested it out yet, but I will let you know if that fixes the issue.
Per the agreement and disclosure, not intended for voice over or speaking voice. Optimized for singing only.
Yes - but we can try it with speaking voices to see what happens. Thanks for the comment!
when will synthV and vocoflex be cracked ......lol
2:52 DUDE! what voice banks for Synth V are those in the examples? The last two are AMAZING!!! 😍😍
see below :)
@@hobqueer The first one is Hayden . The second is Solaria th-cam.com/video/b6ZoA6wMAWs/w-d-xo.htmlsi=FWxDBc2iRpIac0k_. And the third one is SAROS th-cam.com/video/DUbeyIGh2k8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=PDR5nJ4UlnXDVbse
@gregkocis oh heck, I got them out of order ha ha. Ty for the clarification 😅
@@hobqueer no problem
weird FN signup info they need, clearly they want your socials info to see if you have followers to allow you to test their beta
I don’t think it’s the follower count that matters, I believe it’s to check to see if you’d abuse it
Yes, I agree they didn't even ask for social stuff when I signed up. I did do a Zoom interview with them before they let me do the beta testing.
Lol Guaranteed most users of this don't have marketable followers, it's probably for verification.
Going to have a lot of songs with the same AI vocalists on them, just like a lot of TH-cam videos are starting to have the same AI voiceovers in them.
You're welcome.
Vocaloid already got that covered
Oh man, change those two lines around so "pushin' me down" comes first - you would really have somthin there. :-)
Thanks for your input.
Both products are from the same company but against their user agreement??? lmao
I know , a little strange
@@gregkocis I know crazy hey? I luv you work brother keep it up!!
👍👋🏻
Thanks
If its copywrited by someone else it's pretty useless.
Copyright abuse has been rampant with similar technologies. This is aimed at original creators.
@@Sorana914 A vocal is words sung. If you are singing words into a machine - and then altering the sound - what is the difference between that and someone who plugs in their acoustic guitar with a pickup into a foot pedal rack of distortion boxes and then into an amp? Are you saying that because the person used technology to get a pleasing result - that they are cheating?? That it is NOT ORIGINAL CONTENT?
If you see my line of reasoning - then you understand that having a tool maker mark what is produced by the creative artist and claiming it for themselves and preventing them from selling their work as original - is both greedy and bad business.
The creative process is one of new invention - just because somebody somewhere thinks that the way the music is created steps on their toes - IS THEIR PROBLEM.
"Watermarking" i.e. marring the music produced to track it through the music system for copywrite purposes - makes this software useless. This is a new tool - it is NOT the artist using it to create a new song. In effect it is stealing from the artist.
@@jeffthompson1869 please look into dreamtonics other software and their license agreements.
You can't use vocals that your not authorized to use. if you're authorized to use the vocals, then you’re fine.
Words can not express how much I hate this!
Why's that?
@@gregkocis because we no longer know what we are listening to. Is it a “real human singer” or some kind of computer generated fake voice? This tech is going to end up putting everyone out of work!
I don't understand why they wouldn't want this used with their own voice synthesizer. Unless that isn't really a synthesizer but based on databases with copyrighted voices. Or unless this Vocoflex is just that...
IDK this is the first time hearing of this one. Reminds me of Ace studio. I like how this synthesizer V is not subscription only and reasonably priced as well.
This had me interested, but if I can't put anything out that is using these then its not going to be for me unfortunately. Going to keep an eye out though.
I think you have license to copy their voices if you do own their databanks. I think it's just a preventative measure to stop you from using their voice without buying the bank tbh.
